Great place to stay! It’s as it is described and in a great location. Host was very easy to communicate with and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Only thing I’d add is some kind of light out back for walking the dogs :)
Bear Haven was the perfect cabin for us. The cabin had pretty much eveything we needed. The teens loved the hot tub. Location gives easy access to area attractions. We would stay here again.
This cabin was so cute and in a quiet area. No one could see us there! It was clean and uncluttered. We loved that it had the bedrooms separated by the kitchen with their own full bathrooms right outside the bedroom doors since we had 2 adult couples staying there. The pool table was a fun addition as it got really cold a couple of the nights we were there and didn’t want to get out. We really enjoyed our stay.
My family really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was clean and the pool table was a lot of fun. I like that it is close to pigeon forge but still feels remote. We really enjoyed our time, and will hopefully be able to return soon.
Property description was very accurate. Just know it is on a hillside and the driveway is pretty steep, no fun going up or down it at night.
Owner very quick to respond to any questions, needs, or concerns.
Took two of my grandchildren on spring break. Good location to start your day, Nice new deck. Cooked most meals there and found what I needed. Kitchen is small. Shower had great pressure. Loved the game room.
If you’re looking for proximity to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, look no further! Spacious and secluded. There are a few things that could help the place out a bit, creature comforts if you will. Didn’t use the hot tub because it looked dirty and no response from owner on how long since it had been tended to. Hanging clothes are good to go. But no dressers anywhere for anything else. We used the pool table, haha!
We enjoyed this beautiful cabin. The hot tub was fantastic. Had everything you would want for a relaxing get away. We were here for our 11th time in pigeon forge/gatlinburg celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. We had a bear our first morning. So be on the look out. He sneeks up on you. Also had deer roaming through. Overall excellent experience.
We enjoyed the game room very much, but the pool queues need new tips. Great water pressure, loved the hot tub, comfortable beds, the kitchen is small but not too small and served our needs just fine. The ice/water in the fridge weren't working for us but we didn't need that anyway. The location is great - not far from many attractions but far enough away that you feel secluded, very private location. Owner reached out via email to check that everything was ok.
Overall pretty good, just lacking attention to detail. Hardly any soaps in bathrooms. TVs didn’t turn on. Arcade driving game was broken. Ice machine in fridge didn’t work. Bathroom shower had screws screwed into tiles
Grass outside of property is overgrown.
But overall good, open concept 2 bedroom 2 bathroom cabin close to pigeon forge. Nice, cozy property with a hot tub, grill and fire pit with seating. Also nice driveway with extra parking
The location is perfect. Privacy, close to everything - grocery, gas, pizza, parkway. The cabin was clean and comfortable with the bedrooms nicely spaced apart. Hot tub was nice and clean.Quirky in that there are only showers - no tubs for babies if needed. We did not need tubs. Hot and cold water in back bathroom sink was reversed. Plugs in back bedroom work off switch. Thought my phone was charging all night - it wasn't 😉. The drive arcade game pedal is broken so did not use that. Overall, we loved the cabin, comfort and location. Driveway was not steep. If we are in Pigeon Forge again we would not hesitate to stay there. Very nice comfortable accommodations. Thank you for having us.
Enjoyed our stay. Good communication throughout our stay. We would have like for the furniture to be more comfortable. A couple of recliners would have been nice. Also towels were rough feeling to skin.
It was better than u advertisedSo private beautiful locationPlenty of space and plenty of activities to do at the cabin as far as games and the hot tub and grilling area outsideWe have been down to this area ALOT of times over the years in PF & Gatlinburg and none of those places even compare to this cabin of yoursThank u for such a great experience and we will tell our friends & family. And my husband and I will for sure stay with u again
We loved the cute cabin. It had everything we needed. Very comfortable and great location.

Summer vacay
Property and cabin were nice and secluded. Was disappointed that the game system was not working. It appears that the pedal was broken. This was one thing them kids were excited to have, and that was a factor in selecting cabins. Also, had many lights out in the fixtures, TP holder was broken, and towel rack was badly bent in first bathroom. More bugs than expected in back room and trash from previous parties was left under the bed.
The hot tub was not cleaned and parts were broken. The arcade game was broken, the floors were not swept and there was cobwebs all over the walls, the ice machine in the freezer was broken,

About the host
Your host
I’m someone who truly enjoys hosting and making people feel at home. I first discovered the Smoky Mountains on a trip with family, and I knew I wanted to build a place here where others could make their own memories. I value clear communication, quick responses, and doing everything I can to make your stay smooth and enjoyable. Whether you need help planning your trip or just want a quiet space to recharge, I’m here to help—but never in your way. It means a lot to me when guests say they can’t wait to come back—that’s what I aim for every time.
Why they chose this property
I chose this spot in the Smoky Mountains because it feels like the perfect escape. The area is peaceful and quiet—surrounded by trees, wildlife, and that crisp mountain air—yet it’s just a short drive to all the fun in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I love waking up to the sound of birds, sipping coffee on the deck, and then heading out to explore the trails or grab dinner in town. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, and that’s exactly what I wanted to create for myself—and now, for my guests.
What makes this property unique
What makes my cabin special is the balance between comfort and fun. I’ve put a lot of care into every detail—from the cozy cabin décor to the arcade game room, hot tub under the stars, and fast Wi-Fi for those who need to work or stream while they unwind. It’s pet-friendly because I know how important it is to travel with the whole family, paws included. Whether you’re here for a romantic weekend, a family trip, or a relaxing solo retreat, I’ve tried to make the space feel like your own private mountain getaway—warm, inviting, and just a little magical.
