The place was just perfect for our group of friends. The owners were just delightful people. The pictures they shared on the vacation rental were very accurate. The sofa and loveseat had recliners on each end which we loved. It is a great place to stay!
It was very cozy, very comfortable, with what we needed. We are on a duplex with the owners and they were hardly noticeable. The TV had lots of channels and there was a supply of games. It's walkable to downtown Grand Rapids which was what we wanted. We plan to stay here on our next trip to GR.
Lovely property. Well maintained and had everything anyone could want or need. Beautifully decorated. One of the nicest if not the nicest VRBO we've ever stayed in. Very quiet and comfortable. The owners are very nice and we enjoyed meeting. If we are back in Grand Rapids we will stay there again. The location is great for accessing and riding on the Mesabi trail. Grand Rapids is a nice little town and the bike trail out of Grand Rapids is beautiful. We had a great time and having such nice hosts really added to our enjoyment of the trip. Thank you Bev and Fred. Amy, Terry and Pam
This was a perfect place for us to stay! Quiet neighborhood, friendly hosts, everything you needed was provided in the home. We rode our bikes from the house to the Mesabi trail with ease. Made it feel like coming home after a day out. We’ll definitely be back!!!
we were happily surprised at just how perfect this booking was for us.....was close to everything we needed for stay, in a quiet neighborhood and offered anything we needed....thank you Bev for the accomodations
Lovely comfortable lower duplex in a quiet neighborhood. There were many thoughtful touches, like a fully stocked kitchen --butter and coffee, even!--that made our stay feel like a home away from home. I would happily stay here again.
This place was perfect for us. The cleanliness was immaculate. Easy to check into and host was prompt to handle any questions. The location is in a very quiet neighborhood but easy to get to wherever we wanted to go.
We would definitely stay there again
I had a wonderful stay in Grand Rapids. I was there for a conference and the home was close to everything. It was clean and had snacks and everything I would have needed if I forgot to bring anything. Thanks for a great stay!
The hosts went above and beyond to provide a welcoming experience and thought of everything we could have asked for. It was a very clean and organized space. It is in a perfect location close to town but on a quiet street where evening walks were a pleasure.
We stayed several weeks at Bev and Fred’s place, which was perfect for us! We were in town to attend a wedding, visit family, and enjoy the area. This property is very comfortable, immaculate, and well equipped with a plethora of useful items. It is centrally and conveniently located in town in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts are welcoming, really thoughtful, and pleasant. We very much appreciate that this place and our hosts made our long stay possible, easy, and so enjoyable.
Fred and Bev have a great location and are great property owners. We loved the location and their willingness to help us if we needed anything. We were coming and going and had family visiting that were coming and going and they were very accommodating. We will be staying here again and have already referred to other family visiting Grand Rapids.
We both loved staying in this garden apartment! Sparkling clean and problem free check in. Easy to find in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Beautiful, comfortable two bedroom worked so well for us, we’ll definitely keep it in mind for our next trip to the area.
It was great to have the fridge for use and coffeepot with provided coffee was an added bonus! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your lovely place, we enjoyed it!
Bev and Fred were so nice!! I told her I liked her plant outside and when I left, I found a pot of it by my car. Super comfy and it felt very much like home!!
Thank you both!!!
Was super impressed with how clean everything was. The location was great for the things that we needed to do in the Grand Rapids area. Would definitely like to stay there again if in the area. Sad that we didn't get a chance to meet the hosts and thank them personally. Maybe next time. 😉
them personally. Maybe next time.
We enjoyed our two day stay here a lot! It is centrally located in Grand Rapids with easy access to the surrounding area. This downstairs unit is bright and airy with lots of light coming through the windows. The beds were super comfortable. The hosts, Fred and Bev, who live in the upstairs unit, were very welcoming and made themselves readily available if we had any needs. They "go the extra mile" with a number of guest-friendly things that added to our stay--a welcome note, some really great snacks, Starbucks coffee, lots of nice soft towels, and device charging stations in all the rooms. Several times we found ourselves saying, "Why stay in a hotel when you can stay HERE?"
Very comfortable in a very quiet neighborhood. Very close to everything in Grand rapids. Are host's are great people.
