Property was very clean, and I hope we done everything the host provided to us. Kitchen was very clean and bathroom had everything you needed like shampoo and conditioner and shower gel and lotion and plenty of towels. We had access to the lake where you could go fishing the children had an area where they could play in, and let's not forget the grill. This was our second time here we loved it then and we love it now.

Such an awesome house for a big group, especially with kids! House layout is perfect for multiple families. Loved the outdoor amenities like screen rooms, hot tub, and fire pit. Renting a boat could not have been easier with the dock located on the property and the rental place just across the water. Would definitely stay again!

Overall a wonderful property. We enjoyed the children’s area, and lake dock and hot tub. . We spent most of our time at Indiana Beach amusement park but did rent a pontoon boat - For larger groups this is the best property at IB that we have stayed at.

We had a wonderful time! Easy check in. Most everything was nice! Walking distance to IB which was wonderful! A few things that could be repaired ( toilet paper holders coming out of wall x2) . I would love to return there, great memories made. I’m sure it’s hard to keep up with so many visitors in summer months. I suggest stay there!

The house was clean, spacious, and exactly what my family was looking for. We rented a pontoon boat, and the fellas enjoyed fishing. The kids enjoyed smores during our evening bonfires.

This home is beautiful, clean, well stocked for large groups and has an awesome view of the lake! Hosts were quick to respond to any questions and had simple instructions posted around home which was very helpful! It is just minutes away from Indiana Beach too! Highly recommend them for large groups of 10-15 guests :)

A perfect spot for all ages! Our family gathered from five states for an extended weekend to celebrate our most recent Purdue grad. This well-maintained, clean spacious home filled with amenities as well as its location couldn't have been more perfect for all ages. The young grandkids loved the swing set, hammocks, water table, toys and the kids section Indiana Beach Amusement Park for an afternoon. The rest of the crowd enjoyed the large gathering area and kitchen/grill, comfy beds, hot tub and an afternoon of boating on Lake Shafer - having our own dock access was a plus. While in the heart of the activities, the home felt private. All of us would highly recommend.

Great location for family fun

Hosts have set up an incredible place that is perfect for a family getaway. The proximity to Indiana Beach and other great activities (boating, fishing kayaking) make this a real gem. Definitely would recommend to anyone

By far the best communication I have ever had with a host. Heidi was super responsive and accommodating to our family's needs. Additionally, the house was stocked with all the little things we often forget, which was appreciated. The location was perfect for both time at the Indiana Beach amusement park as well as for renting a boat for the lake. We loved the access to the Kayak and the fire pits, but spent most of our time on the large screened in porches playing games with the family while looking at the lake. The house was immaculate and felt more like a home than a rental property. We were super impressed with the quality of the house. It was a perfect 10 for our family!

Great lake house!

This was the perfect spot for our family of 8 to spend the weekend! We had a range from teens to Grand Parents in town for a graduation and the house was perfect. Plenty of space for everyone and such a great setting.

Amazing Ladies Weekend!

Fantastic property, plenty of space for everyone! Comfortable bedrooms, extremely clean and kitchen was well stocked! Huge hot tube, gorgeous property with beautiful lake views. Highly recommend and great communication with the owner!

A week at Piper House

The property and home were delightful.Our family of 13 had a great time. Host was very gracious when we had some.annoyance from an erratic smoke alarm.and a.dishwasher that would not start - neither of which probed to be a major problem.

Great house with great amenities!

We had 4 families stay in the house. Each couple got their own room, and the kids shared the two bunk rooms. The separation between the two spaces was perfect for letting the little ones nap throughout the day! Great outdoor spaces too!

Annual trip

We have been staying in this property for over five years. We’ve been coming to the area for 38 years. We love the house it’s perfect for our needs and a great location. The owners are great and always very responsive. It’s a great run property beautiful house, beautiful decor.
