Great place, had a great time.

Our family was in Boone for my granddaughter's high school graduation. The property is close to Boone and very convenient to everything. It is spacious, had everything we needed, and was overall a great place to stay. We plan to stay there again in 2 years when my grandson graduates

Great location and spacious cabin

We loved our stay at East Meets West cabin. We have a large family of 13 and there was more than enough space for us all to be comfortable. The location is ideal, with it being close to town but still a quiet setting. There is plenty to do, close by, and we enjoyed all of the amenities that the cabin offers. We will definitely keep this cabin in mind if we ever stay in Boone again.

Awesome Cabin

We loved this cabin! There were 11 of us staying and there was olenty of room to spread out without feeling like we were on top of each other. We were fortunate to have a ton of snow and the steep hill in the backyard made a perfecft sledding hill. We were close to everything and will definitely be back!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

We took are first big family trip which included 12 adults and 2 kids ages 2 & 5. Everyone had an amazing time! We had everything that we needed to make our trip go smoothly. The view was beautiful, the house was BREATHTAKING, and the area was perfect! We hope to see this home available again next year because it fit our family perfectly! We wish we were still there!

Fantastic Cabin!

The cabin was very nice and everything was very clean. The people to work with responded very fast and were extremely kind. The only disappointment was that the cable on the TV was out and Directv could not come until after we had left. Not a big deal but would have been nice to watch the playoff games. All in all, great place and I would definitely stay here again.

Great Value & Stay

We had such a lovely military family reunion and stay over the Memorial Weekend Holiday break. This was the 1st family cabin trip that we’ve taken with a large group. From the moment of arrival, to the overnight stay, amenities, overall cleanliness, and breathtaking view, we throughly enjoyed our 2-night stay. Mr. Dan was a delight to work with over the phone. He made sure to answer any questions that we had about our rental and more. We utilized the hot tub, pool table, gas grill, arcade game machine, cable TV, laundry facility, and beautiful kitchen during our stay. Everything worked as described. The only small discrepancies were an ant infestation on the kitchen countertops and table, as well as dirty outside trash bins, prior to check-in. Both issues were reported to the property manager. One tip of improvement would be to add a tub light to the 2nd level bathroom. It was pretty dark behind the bathroom curtain. But the fresh towels were plentiful and appreciated. The beds and pillows were soft and perfect after a long day of outdoor hiking. The hot tub and gas fireplace were easily functioned. Overall, we would definitely consider coming back for another stay in the future! Thank you for being our home for this past weekend. ♥️

ASU graduation 2019

Enjoyed my sons graduation from ASU and thanks to this comfortable house my family had some place to stay. The kitchen was big and well stocked. The porches were are favorite we loved sitting on the rockers and watching the cows below us. Although it was a rainy weekend we enjoyed our stay. It was only about 10 minutes from downtown Boone so it was pretty much perfect for our graduation celebration. The only thing I would improve on would be to have blowdryers placed in all the bathrooms.

What a great place to spend your 50th birthday!

Loved the feel of this home. It offered plenty of space for everyone to spread out on 3 levels. The huge kitchen was perfect for eating altogether as a family and playing games. The hot tub and pool table were used quite a bit. Couldn't beat the location, literally less than 10 minutes to the grocery stores and downtown Boone.

Not worth the money!

Rented this home for our family to celebrate my daughters graduation from App State. We tried to check in early but were told that due to the snow and getting things plowed we wouldn't be able to. So when we arrived at the cabin at 3:00, no plow had been there. Trudged through the snow to unload and found that the cable was't working. Called about plow and cable. Nice young man came a plowed so we could park cars off the road. Another man came to fix cable and seemed annoyed. Couldn't get the cable fixed said he would return first thing in the morning. Morning came and went. There was an after house number on the frig that I called 4 times, which game me an 888 number to call if my first call was not returned within 30 minutes. Left 4 messages there too. Finally called the during hours number and was told the after hour number which was clearly posted on the refrigerator hadn't been a valid number in over 4 months. Well be finally got someone to come by after another 2 calls and someone came out. Cable could not be fixed.and several tv's in the house were not even connected to anything. So guess we can't watch the App State Bowl game. On top of all that...Here is a list of other things we found were questionable Hot tub jets only worked in one corner Lighting in kitchen and master bath is horrible Love seat in living room really needs to be replaced as well as couches down stairs Ice maker in fridge was inoperable (But filthily so I would't have used it anyway) Couches were full of "snack" left over from previous renters Really not very clean Overall, we did not let any of this spoil the reason we were there, but this house is not what it is advertised to be. We have stayed in lots of VBRO's and this one is not worth the money. On the upside, location is great!
