The Kickback Retreat - Where homespun charm meets city convenience!
After a long break from renting, this quiet and wooded NW Georgia home in Cobb County is back on the STR market.
Surrounded by Kennesaw Mountain National Park's hiking trails, 2 miles to the historic Marietta Square (with the best dining in Cobb County), Target, Publix, and only 5 miles to Whole Foods, Kennesaw State University and I-75. 12 miles to Lake Allatoona & Holiday Marina. Everything is so convenient!
That being said, our relaxed retreat offers a peaceful respite from your busy days! With comfy bedrooms, wooded views, natural light from many windows, if you like birdsong and distant train whistles this place is for you.
A tin-roofed screened porch provides space for everyone to be out - even in gloomy weather.
The stocked kitchen provides you with more than the basics!
Four streaming TVs (porch, den, queen, and primary) offer fast wifi speeds for your favorite networks.
A couple of important things to know:
Your infant or toddler is more than welcome, however, we do not have any safety mechanisms, and there are stairs, so please take that under advisement.
We will allow small events with restrictions and for an additional fee! Please reach out for more info.

The attached garage is locked for owner's storage but there is plenty of parking available for up to 4 vehicles.
Marietta/West Cobb is a small-town family friendly environment with lots of culture and entertainment (though you'll want to head toward ATL for nightlife)!

We split our time between our home in the smoky mountains and this home "in the city." We are able to share our Marietta property when we are not in residence there.

Set apart from the others by a small forest of trees, the Cozy Nest Retreat is a respite for the family, your leadership team, bridesmaids or other small group!
Enjoy our outdoor space for morning coffee, lunch or watching a Braves game! Listen to the birds and the distant whistle of our town train while you swing in the hammock (available depending on weather).

What makes this property unique
At the base of Kennesaw Mountain, you'll be within just a few miles of local breweries, hiking trails, delicious restaurants, antique shops and big retail. Truist Park is just 8 miles south or travel just 12 miles north to Lake Allatoona. So much to do and see in the metro Atlanta area.
