This private town home is located on a quiet dead end street. At Casa de Paz you will wake up to the sounds of exotic birds. Iridescent iguanas watch you through the trees. Welcome to paradise!

Casa de Paz is two blocks from the amazing warm turquoise water, one mile to the main town, and a five minute walk to Chedruai, a large supermarket/department store located in a small mall with a movie theater and a world class gym. There are many family operated restaurants and beach clubs. within walking distance. The ferry to the mainland is just a 15 minute walk or two-minute taxi ride, as is the main plaza, where you will find many beautiful stores, live music, and typical Mercado (market place).

Our spacious home is designed for comfort and relaxation. This two-story, two bedroom, two bath home has a large, fully-equipped kitchen to prepare your own meals. Also, on the first floor is a comfy living room to lounge with friends and family or watch Premium Channels on the smart TV. Internet is provided. The futon turns into a restful double bed. There is AC and a ceiling fan in each bedroom and the living room, which can be individually controlled for your comfort level. The kitchen also has 2 ceiling fans. The downstairs bedroom has two twin beds and a full bath in the hallway. The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and full bath in the hallway. And, each bedroom has blackout curtains for a good nights’s sleep. For your convenience, we have a washer and dryer! There are also eco-friendly clothes lines on the terrace 😉 and the clothes dry in about an hour. The large upstairs terrace awaits you with chaise lounges and a dining table and chairs under a palapa providing plenty of shade. Watch spectacular skies with your favorite beverage or snack or take your morning coffee and pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread) and feel the gentle Caribbean breezes. The terrace also allows guests to experience views of coconut trees, tropical plants, and visits from local birds.

So, get away from the rat race, disconnect and relax on the island of Cozumel—it has the heart of Mexico and the soul of the Caribbean. You deserve this!

Very comfortable

While not on the beach, its very close to great restaurants and easy to catch a taxi if you don't have a car. Alex, the property manager went above and beyond! We'd stay here again!

Wonderful Stay in San Miguel de Cozumel

Melissa's home was nicer than she described. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well supplied. The upstairs patio was very nice. We enjoyed having friends over for dinners and to watch the lunar eclipse. Alex, the property manager, was exceptional! We would definitely rent from Melisa again.

Very homey, safe feeling, and clean.

We stayed for 4 weeks at Casa De Paz and it was a good choice for our family this year. We liked the neighborhood and felt it was a safe area to being our visiting adult children. Away from the noise and activity of the downtown and close to the nature sounds of birds and frogs in the jungle. Close enough to walk to the the grocery stores, (at night-too hot for a walk in the day for us) yet a little far to walk into central in the heat of June. Our property manager, Alex, was spot on with attentiveness to our needs. Our house keeper did a thorough job and made the house sparkle when she was done each week. The dryer wasn't working so we hung a line out on the deck and that worked great for laundry and wet suits and towels after a day at the beach. We would recommend this house if you would like to be in the quieter part of Cozumel!

We are at one of our favorite beach clubs up north that has great snorkling, chaise lounges, and umbrellas for shade, and delicious food. This is a perfect day for us!

Why they chose this property

After visiting several times, we started to feel part of this small community and its friendly people. We have been coming for over 35 years, and it still has the same charm. We love that it has the soul of the Caribbean and the heart of Mexico.

What makes this property unique

Location, location, location. We are one mile from the plaza, two blocks from the beach, and a five minute walk to two large local supermarket/department stores. Our house is very comfortable and welcoming because it is not only a rental, but it is our home away from home. Some of the best snorkling is 2-5 miles from our home.
