We had a great stay, Has a spacious dock with good fishing and swimming. The house is great updated throughout we had a large group ranging from 17- 80 years old and everyone had a fun time. It is everything as advertised the host accommodated our special request we couldn’t ask for anything more great place for great time
Property was absolutely beautiful. The kids loved that we were so close to the lake so they could swim. Great communication with the host, he answered questions and returned calls in a timely manner. We definitely would stay at this property again in the future!
We enjoyed our stay in this quiet cove. The house accommodated our family group of 14 well. We appreciated that the basics were provided: enough linens and towels, paper towels and toilet paper. Having 2 refrigerators was very helpful too. Dock with boat slip and slide provided hours of fun. We enjoyed our stay!
This place was perfect for our family of 14. We had plenty of space. The common areas worked well for all of us together but with three levels, there was privacy too. Lots of deck space, and the dock with slide and lake access was great. Hot tub was listed but there wasn't one.
We loved the dock and swimming area. The decks on the back of the house accommodated our very large group. We did have a couple of items that made the stay uncomfortable. The a/c system made some rooms very cold and did not cool other rooms. One water heater was causing very cold showers. It kept flipping the breaker. We did have an amazing time and would rent again.
We got everything that was advertised on their listing. Very comfortable lodging with good location. Enjoyed quiet dock on cove and was fairly easy to get around to many things to do. Only possible downside is that there are a lot of steps from home to dock.
Would recommend to familys.

Our first all family vacation was a complete success
This was the first time we were able to get all 19 of us together for a family vacation. House was great, beautiful, comfortable, everything you could want, nice quiet cove for swimming, the grandkids had a great time fishing and swimming. Couldn't have asked for a better more relaxing time. Thanks Ken, it was great.
Great place to stay for water sports and hanging out
Perfectly fit our needs for separate sections and room for everyone to gather together. House property is right on the lake - easy in and out of water and also a covered boat slip - just be aware of many steps up and down to the lake. Only reason I gave only 4 stars for cleanliness was a glitch with the cleaning team - but the owner resolved it as quickly as he could. Highly recommended for water sports, fishing, bird and wildlife watching (we saw many deer and small animals).
Had a great time staying at this property. Having 2 refrigerators was a plus with our large crew. Grandkids enjoyed fishing and swimming off the dock. ( the slide was a blast ) We rented a boat for 2 days. The boat slip came in very handy. Shops and restaurant's close by. Wood’s Supermarket is close by. We were very comfortable in this home and would stay again. Thanks Ken for everything!

Relaxing and Amazing Vacation
Our 3 generation family stayed at this property for 6 nights and had an amazing time. The house was a perfect fit for the 11 of us. Things we loved were having our own dock, swimming in the cove off the dock, fishing off the dock, and the open kitchen and dinning room layout. This is a very nice house and we would definitely stay here again. Deck off the main floor was nice to sit and watch the boats on the main channel go by, and the lower deck was large enough to fit us all. Owners are very nice to work with. Osage Beach is a short drive away and very close to restaurants, attractions, grocery stores, and the outlet mall. We would rent this house again!

Thanks Kelly!! I'm glad that you and your family had a great stay! Hope to see you again soon!!
The house easily fit all 14 of us. We had 8 adults and 6 teens. We had 4 teens in one room, all adults had either the king or queen rooms, and 2 boys in the basement on an air mattress.
The house had everything you would need. It was nice to have two fridges. We spent most of our time in the water or on the dock. The kids loved the slide. The ping pong table was used every day. The large dining room table and bar had more than enough room for us all to eat dinner together and play games each night.
We all got a workout on the stairs to the dock, but all in all this was a great vacation. It was very convenient to be so close to Bagnell Damn and a grocery store also!
Thank you sharing your home with us.

Mandy - Thanks for the kind words! We are glad you had a great time and were able to share our home!
Our family of 10 stayed for a week. Location was great. Close to town to go Grandpa’s Ice cream and miniature golfing in evening. The cove had great views of the main channel and great for swimming especially since our grandkids ranged from 1 to 8 years old. The kids all loved the slide. Nice dock with picnic table and lounge chairs! The house was spacious and allowed us to spread out. The only suggestion we like to see in VRBOs is a couple of baby gates to use to block the little one from going up or down stairs, but we made due using other things to block them from leaving the main living area. Nice that they had beach towels that is always a plus. The grandkids do like the lily pads which we have had at other locations but we would definitely be back. Owner was good getting back to us and had good details on TVs and where to locate garbage. There are a lot of stairs but we knew that by looking at the pictures. Overall had a great time.

RENTERS BEWARE!!! Rented property June 22-28 2025 for family reunion Upon arrival was informed that the dock was damaged and being held together with a ratchet strap. It was usable but was uneven and had to watch when walking with kids. Ladder on dock was loose. SAFTEY ISSUE!! Walked through the house and found dirty laundry in upstairs closet, No inside hand rails. Food was left in the freezer. The house was clean otherwise. Sailboat was in the boat slit that was supposed to be for us. Notified KEN and he did say he would have it removed if need. We had NO HOT water and after talking to KEN WAS TOLD TO SWITCH THE BREAKER ON THE FUSEBOX to get hot water witched tripped many times!!! The outside deck had nails protruding up that we pounded down to eliminate possible foot injury. Even though it was listed, THERE IS NO HOT TUB. Part of the reason we booked this place. Ken stated there has never been a hot tub. The dryer had working issues. Raw sewage backed up in the lower bathroom in the evening and we blocked it with towels to prevent it going further into the downstairs area. Call KEN, He informed us he would have someone out asap. About 1 hours later a Plummer shows up. About 2 hour latter the sewer was fixed. He stated this this happens every 1 1/2 to 2 months. 12 people where inconvenienced from using water or toilets during this time, I cleaned up towels and moped floor with beach myself! Needed a vacation from our vacation

Roomy house with nice view but some problems.
The house met our needs, the layout, beds and number of bathrooms worked well for our group. The area was quiet and we enjoyed having lake access.
The owner was not good about communication. After several emails/phone messages and still not receiving information about check-in or directions we finally contacted VRBO and they contacted the owner. The fact that we didn’t know 24 hours before the arrival of 9 guests from across the country, got the vacation weekend off to a bad start. We got the address but no directions, the first person to arrive drove around for over an hour trying to locate the house. It is on a private street, there is confusion between the spellings of Willmore and Wilmore, no posting of house number to lead to proper outlet and it was not located on googlemaps. This lead to more messages and waiting until proper directions could be given.
The dock has safety issues. There are 2 ladders for entry /exit into the lake, however, one has a broken handle and both have broken/missing bottom rungs. Half of our group decided not to use the lake due to concerns of being able to get out of the lake and back onto the dock. There are also areas of the dock with exposed nails and broken wood. No one was injured during our stay but, we were concerned about the possibility.

Thank you for your review of our home. I'm sorry you had a difficult time finding our home. The county changed the address of our home 2 years ago and Google maps just hasn't caught up yet. It took us over a year to get the right address to our home!! We really encourage everyone to download the HomeAway app. It has specific directions and we even include grid coordinates to make it easier. It also makes communication much easier in the event we have a family emergency, as we did shortly before your stay. Our turnover crew must have missed the dock ladder being broken. It has since been replaced and the broken and loose boards have been repaired. Our dock takes quite a beating over the summer months and we really try to stay on top of it, but some times it gets the best of us. We really hope these minor things did not impact your stay at our home. We continually strive to make our home meet the needs of all our guests. We look forward to any suggestions for improvements to make your stay more enjoyable!
The house was very big and would be a perfect place to stay, but it was dirty and needs updated. My daughter had to wash her sheets before they could sleep because they were dirty. The closets were full of junk and trash. There were lots of spices on the counter that were opened and two ripe banana's. Not sure why they left them. The dining room table and chairs were about to fall apart and scary to sit on, one chair was broken and in a closet so we only had 5 chairs. They put old cushions on top of the chairs that were stained. Same with the deck and stairs to the lake. They are in bad need of repair before someone gets hurt. The cleaning fee was a joke, because the place was not clean. I should have listened to other reviews about not being clean. We couldn't even use the deck it was not nice at all. Spider webs and dead spiders were all over the walls inside and out. It was obvious they had been there for awhile.

It is difficult not to get emotional when replying to reviews...so I'll just list facts and you can determine the validity of the opinions. I collected the security deposit of these individuals for trashing the place and leaving their garbage in our locked tool shed. I also confiscated their drugs and paraphernalia they left behind and turned them in to the local authorities. They left the window open in the basement open - the one they opened while they were using their drugs. This literally allowed a swarm of bugs into the basement area that had to be fumigated.
We have provided 3 sets of sheets for every bed in our home to allow our cleaning staff the capability to remove the laundry off-site, properly launder and sanitize prior to every stay. This is a lake house. We spray monthly for insects. Insects are bountiful in the woods surrounding our home and down to the lake. Insects enter our home...we can't stop them, however, we can (and do) kill them upon entry. We pressure wash our decks and stairs every year. The decks and stairs, designed by an architect and installed over 55 years ago (before OSHA was a thing), are primarily original, with a few repairs as necessary. They are inspected yearly and maintenance is performed as required. For a quarter century, we raised our infant children running up and down these stairs. Proper parenting has prevented any injuries or losses to date.
We are sorry you found our home unacceptable. And yes...as your review states...you will never stay again as you will not be welcomed back.

3 Generation family vacation and this place was excellent location for all ages. The dock, waterside, and ping pong were hits amongst the grandkids and it was deep enough to pull the pontoon up to it for easy loading, and also fun to fish off of.
Checking in and out was a breeze..loved it.

Birthday Weekend
The cabin was nice, comfortable and clean. Well furnished with nice views. The outdoor area was not prepared for our stay. The weeds were tall, leaves not removed and decks were nor cleaned or prepared for guests. Cobwebs everywhere, tree dropping’s, pollen, small limbs all over. Spent over 2 hours sweeping chairs, tables and deck. No chair cushion out. I don’t believe it had been attended too yet this year. We deserve to get credit or reimbursement for our time of the $120 “cleaning “ fee.
