About this property

A Charming Gem in the Big Woods!

Ahhh, . . . put your feet up and take in the fresh mountain air while relaxing in this charming rustic cabin in the heart of Oak Creek Canyon, centrally located between the towns of Sedona and Flagstaff. The perfect location to explore Northern Arizona! Enjoy the spectacular views of towering cliffs and lush forest landscape that offer an oasis of serenity. This secluded gem accommodates up to 6 guests.

Our cabin is located in a quiet picturesque neighborhood bordering the Coconino National Forest where hiking trails are right out the front door awaiting you. A short walk down the dirt road will lead you to the banks of Oak Creek where you may see families fishing, bolder-hopping, and children wading thru the waters on a warm summer day. If you're an outdoor enthusiast and enjoy activities such as mountain biking, hiking, ATV riding, etc., there are many adventures awaiting you in the surrounding areas of Flagstaff and Sedona. If you choose to just relax at the cabin, consider taking a wine walk around the neighborhood. Enjoy our friendly neighborhood where the locals believe, . . "Where the living is easy."

Living area:
There is plenty of space to cuddle up next to a warm crackling wood burning stove while sipping on a hot cup of your favorite drink, or gather around the table for a fun family game night! The cabin is also equipped with WiFi, Flatscreen TV, satellite television, BOSE radio/CD system and a DVD player. Enjoy movies for all ages from the DVD library. Please note that due to the unique location in the canyon, the satellite television may not always be 100% reliable during inclement winter weather conditions.

Kitchen:
The kitchen is equipped with the essential needs to create a scrumptious meal: dinnerware, silverware, pots, fryer pans, coffee maker, blender, toaster, food processor, cooking spices, coffee grounds (regular only) and coffee filters. Please note, there are no major groceries markets in Oak Creek Canyon. Guests are encouraged to purchase groceries in Flagstaff or Sedona prior to your arrival at the cabin.

Upstairs bedroom:
The upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed and a half bath. The bedroom is decorated in warm colors and antique furnishing for that special touch. Enjoy the warmth of the morning sun and the beautiful mountain views on the balcony while sipping a delicious cup of coffee or tea.

Master Bedroom:
The downstairs master bedroom hosts a luxurious king size bed. There is an ensuite bathroom/shower, separate vanity, and plenty of closet space.

Bedroom:
A recently remodeled downstairs third bedroom (off the kitchen) hosts two comfy twin beds and a sitting area.

Laundry:
Our cabin is equipped with a washer/dryer. An iron and ironing board is also available. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are provided.

Important-please read:
The uniqueness of this experience will require you to cross Oak Creek to access our cabin. During the Winter months, we strongly advise you to check the weather conditions for snow in this area. It will require a minimum of an All-Wheel-Drive vehicle to cross safely under these conditions. In the Spring months, the creek may flood periodically, which will require our guests to park in the pull-out lane alongside Hwy 89A until the water subsides to a safe level to drive across. If high water flooding, DO NOT attempt to cross the creek. Instead, use Clyde's Footbridge to cross the creek by foot. It will be about a 2 block walk to the cabin. There is a wagon cart under the carport to help with transporting food and luggage to the cabin. Inclement weather conditions are out of the hands of the hosts.

Outdoor spaces:
Listen to the birds chirp a happy song and hear the gentle rustling sounds of the pines while enjoying your meal on our outdoor side patio. A gas BBQ grill is available for your convenience. As always, please respect the peaceful friendly neighborhood.

Guest access
Please enjoy the entire cabin and make it your home away from home!

Interaction with guests
Our guests may contact us by phone, text or email. We are happy to answer your questions regarding our cabin.

Great Escape!
This was such a nice place. We enjoyed being in the Canyon, away from the hustle and bustle. But close enough to get there if you needed. This cozy cabin was such a great retreat. Highly recommended!
