This is a charming bright second floor apartment (with elevator), in a building surrounded by a lovely garden. The apartment has full garden view and partial ocean view. It is in a very quiet neighbourhood with local grocery shop, bakery, coffee shop,restaurants, pharmacy and bank within 2-7 min walk. Conveniently located between beautiful town of Cascais (pleasant 25 min walk by the sea) and Estoril (15 min walk) with the biggest Casino in Europe. Nearest beach is 10 min walk away and there are more beaches along the coast 15-30 min walk away. Within a short drive are 8 superb golf courses, the historic town of Sintra, spectacular Guincho beach famous for surfing and wind surfing. Train station is 10 min walk away with regular trains to Lisbon (they run every 15 minutes and get to Lisbon in 30 min)

Comfortable and homely

Tania was great to deal with. We were very comfortable. It was so good to be able to cook for ourselves and do some laundry - really make ourselves at home. Neighbours were friendly and shops, cafes and restaurants all within easy walk as was the beach. Monte Estoril is a delightful area and the lovely Cascais was a very pleasant walk and nice place to shop, stroll and eat.

Great visit

I spent two months in Tanja's wonderful apartment. It was well equipped and Tanja was very helpful. I enjoyed the location since I did not want the hustle and bustle of a large city and yet Lisbon was only 40 minute economical train ride away. If you love the ocean, the apartment is only a 10 minute walk to the wonderful promenade of Estoril and Cascais.

Schöner Herbsturlaub

Der bisher guten Beurteilung dieses Apartements können wir uns nur anschließen. Durch die Lage zwischen Estoril und Cascais ergaben sich schöne Spaziergänge entlang der Strandpromenade in beide Richtungen. Die Wohnung ist komplett ausgestattet und die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin Tania verlief optimal. Das Haus ist allerdings etwas hellhörig.

Super Lage um vor den Toren Lissabons Urlaub abseits vom Touristenrummel zu machen. Auf einen Mietwagen kann man gut verzichten.

Keurig appartement

Net appartement op 15 minuten lopen van treinstation en strand. Ook naar Cascais loop je in 20 minuten. Heel behulpzame gastvrouw. Het enige kleine minpuntje is dat de appartementen zeer gehorig zijn. De buren waren ook nog aan het verbouwen maar dat is gewoon pech. Verder uitstekend appartement.

Comfortable Apartment, Perfect Location

The apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything you would need. It had a small but perfectly good balcony which seated two people for evening drinks. For us, the location of the apartment was perfect. The area was quiet and there were restaurants and mini-supermarkets within easy walking distance. There was no problem with car parking and it was a great base to visit Lisbon, Sintra and nearby beaches. Tania, the host, was really helpful and was waiting to meet us as we arrived. Great appartment near the sea

We had a great time in this very nice and cosy appartment! We stayed for two weeks in sunny Monte Estoril with two adults and a child. The appartment was very clean and Tania, the owner, very helpful! Only a small walk to the beach and a great coffeebar just a few steps from the appartment!I would definitely recommand this place!

Eine tolle Ferienwohnung zum Entspannen

Wir waren im September 2014 in dieser sehr schönen ruhigen geplegten Ferienwohnung die wir sehr empfehlen können. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieterin ist eine sehr freundliche Person und in englisch war auch die Kommunikation gar kein Problem. Die Wohnung ist ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt um sich selbst zu versorgen zum Kochen, Waschen, TV und WLAN, einen Fahrstuhl. Ein kleiner Laden um die Ecke zum Einkaufen, ein Cafe im Park zum relaxen, der Fußweg zum Bahnhof dauert ca. 10-15 Minuten man sollte schon gut zu Fuß sein und auch vor ein paar Treppen nicht zurückschrecken. Wir hatten ein Auto gemietet um an die schönen Orte und Sehenswürdigkeiten rund um Estoril zu gelagen. (Sintra, Castello dos Mouros, Cabo da Roca, Praia do Guincho usw.) Nach Lissabon gelangt man am besten mit der Bahn für knapp 6 Euro hin und zurück entlang der Tejomündung in den Atlantik. In Nachbarort Cascais konnten wir uns kostenlos Fahrräder ausleihen und direkt an der Küste auf einem extra angelegten Fahrweg das Meer genießen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Anna Petra F.

apartamento tranquilo y acogedor

Acabamos de llegar y ya queremos volver! Hemos pasado una semana perfecta. El apartamento es muy tranquilo, con todo lo necesario para estar cómodos. Hemos ido con un bebé de 18 meses y ha ido todo muy bien, lejos del bullicio pero cerca de todo, apartamento totalmente recomendable por situación, tranquilidad y comodidad.

cozy apartment in good location

Very cozy apartment in a central and very quiet location. It has everything you might need during your stay, from an iron to all the kitchen utensils etc. We were very happy to choose this apartment because the owner, Tanja, is such a warm and helpful person. Definitely recommended.

Comfortable, Clean 1-BR with Outstanding Location

I stayed here for a month but immediately felt right at home in this pleasant 1-bedroom apartment. The location is excellent in an attractive residential neighborhood of the small seaside town of Monte Estoril, 30 minutes by train from Lisbon. You're just a 10-minute walk from the train, the lovely beaches and waterfront promenade with many cafes, the local bus station for historic Sintra and other towns, and the casino in Estoril. You can also walk 20 minutes along the sea to the charming, larger town of Cascais, which has a wonderful farmers market, a supermarket, and many other shops and restaurants. There are also good bakeries and well-stocked grocery stores close to the apartment, as well as cafes and shops. Even as a woman walking home by myself from the train after midnight, I always felt safe in this area. The apartment is spotlessly clean and sunny -- it's not fancy but it has everything you could need including a double bed with a good mattress, WiFi, dishwasher, and washing machine (everyone hangs their laundry to dry). It's a good size for one or two adults (and perhaps a young child or baby), with a double sofa bed in the living-room which I didn't try. The bathroom is on the small side but is perfectly functional. What I particularly liked is that you can see trees when looking out the windows, and there's a small balcony with a slice of ocean view. The building is quiet and well-maintained, and there's an elevator if you need it but I walked up the two floors. Tania, the apartment owner, is friendly and helpful, fluent in English and Portuguese, and totally reliable -- she was responsive to emails, and available by phone in case I had any problems, which I never did. She even picked me up at the train station when I arrived with my luggage. I plan to go back and stay here again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Excellent

My husband and I have been in this apartment twice, in August 2012 and in December last year and both times had excellent stay! It is a lovely apartment in a nice neighborhood and well taken care of. The area is quiet and still everything we needed was just few minutes away. We particularly enjoyed walks along the seaside to Cascais and Estoril. There is a lovely cafe nearby, a perfect place to take morning coffee under palm trees. We didn't bother to rent a car to go to Lisbon, as the train station is 10 min away and it takes only 25 min to get to the center of Lisbon. Our host Tania was very friendly and helpful. Her tips were very valuable to avoid typical tourist traps and have a perfect Portuguese experience.
