Cute and Comfortable and in a Great Location!

We stayed here for a couple of nights to visit Nafplio and enjoyed the property. The owners were very kind and responsive, and the space itself was cozy and inviting. We liked being within walking distance to all the local shops and restaurants, so it was perfect for our stay!

Our stay was excellent . The Location was amazing , perfectly located in the old town and close to Aravinitia Beach. The parking options were very convenient .The apartment had everything you could need for your stay and Doretta and her family were absolutely beautiful and available to assist with any concerns we had and for tips about Nafplio. Comfortable beds

This was a nice place to stay. It had everything that we needed. The bedrooms were nicely decorated, and the beds were particularly comfortable. I like the little outdoor patio. One suggestion for our hostess is that it would be nice to have mirrors in the bedrooms.

Good central location to old town

Only two nights stay. Napflio is quite touristy, lots of shops selling cheap jewellery. Palamidi Castle was awesome. Beach was tiny. Apartment /kitchen was small for four at the dining table but beds were clean and comfortable.

Perfect Location

The location is perfect, right in old town. Just steps away from cafes, shops and all the sites. The bedrooms are a nice size with king size beds. The beds are a little firm. You need to walk through one bedroom to get to the 2nd bedroom. Worked fine for us, but might be awkward for some groups. I would not recommend this rental for anyone over 6’ 2” (188 cm). The ceiling in the bathroom is just over 6’ 2”.

Why they chose this property

From Athens the trip is 1.5 - 2 hours by car (147km). Buses connect the town with Athens, Salonica and all the major cities of Peloponessos. From Athens, there are 12 to 14 daily buses (from Eleftherios Venizelos airport take the X93 bus till the last stop). The buses of KTEL leave Athens from Terminal A in Kifissos central bus station. The journey takes about 2 hours. You can buy tickets online. The town also has a good protected port which can host several yachts providing them with all facilities. If you are travelling by bus, from Nafplio terminal you can reach Su Casa Cottage in less than 5 minutes walk. If you are travelling by car, there is free public parking area right next to the house.

What makes this property unique

Getting around within the town is easier, for those that love bicycles. The municipality is renting bicycles in front of the Town Hall, by the KTEL bus station. Nafplio is a good base to head out to the numerous archeological sites surrounding it, such as Epidaurus theater, Mycenae, Tiryns. Nearly all towns villages and tourist spots are serviced by local buses at all times. The bus station is at the end of the park, just before the old town, at Sygrou str 8. From March till October, there are daily cruises from Nafplio and Tolo to Monemvasia as well as Ydra and Spetses islands.
