About this property
Two Bedroom cottage - Family owned/operated since 1923
Our cottages are clean and well kept. Situated on 3 acres, surrounded by forever wild state land. We offer free wi-fi, cable, fire pits, and grills. Conveniently located between Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Come see why our guests return year after year ! Open May - October. Sorry, no pets.
The space:
Cottage #3 has queen beds in the 2 bedrooms and a full size sofa bed. It also has a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Both bathrooms have stand up showers. Sleeps up to 5 people.
We are a family business that takes pride in our property. We keep our cabins CLEAN and well maintained. We are only 5 minutes in either direction from Lake Placid and Saranac lake. We are right off highway 86 but our property is quiet and peaceful.
Guest access:
We have free Wifi spread throughout the property. There are gas and charcola grills, Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, fire pits , and horseshoes all free for our guests to use. We sell firewood on the property as well. Parking is plentiful and free. There is a gas station within walking distance that carries groceries, sandwiches, beer, ice , etc.

History of the Property:
Moreno's cottages was founded by Tessie and Tony Moreno in1923. Uncle Tony built this property by hand over the years and Aunt Tessie ran the business with discipline and hard work. The Drake family, with 2 parents and 4 teenage children, is the newest owner of this historic vacation destination. Todd & Leigh work constantly to make changes or additions to the property to make our guests' stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
The space:

Our traditional, woodsy cabins have never been "out of style", and today, offer a unique setting loved by young and old alike! Growing up enjoying properties like this one with our family, we have always wanted to offer the same to other families. We work side by side with our children to deliver the best possible experience to our guests. Todd & Leigh have four children who also work with the family business, and love the outdoors all four seasons of the year! The cottages have been refurbished and modernized from the original 1920's construction, but still maintain the rustic Adirondack feel.
