We had a great stay at The Source. Excellent location...close to everything but a quiet and beautiful area. Home was clean and a great size for two couples to enjoy the weekend. AC worked well and it had all the amenities we needed. We absolutely loved our tasting at Copia as well. Be sure to book one!

Beautiful get away in the Paso hills

We stayed here for two nights and loved every second of it! The views are amazing and the breeze that comes through the property is majestic. Jacuzzi was the BEST part!!

Perfect weekend getaway

Everything about this house was perfect! It felt like home away from home, stocked with all the necessities, games & things to do, and full of comfort. Sunrise was absolutely beautiful, and visiting the Copia tasting room is a must!

Beautiful grounds!

We booked this property as part of a perk program we offer our attorneys. The guest staying this week provided the following comments about their experience: Beautiful grounds, and delicious wine! We had a great time chatting with Anita and hearing about their path to winemaking. Would definitely love to stay here again the next time we’re in Paso.

Our Favorite Getaway

The Copia guesthouse has become our go-to vacation spot when we just need to get away. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the house is clean and it truly is one of the most relaxing places. We love taking advantage of the proximity to town and we always make sure to make time for a tasting as we love their wines. Sarah, the manager, is absolutely fantastic and always goes above and beyond for our stays. We’ll be back next fall and already counting down the days!

A True Sanctuary to Visit

We loved our stay celebrating my friend's 65th birthday. I can't wait to go back again. There were even beautiful, bright and cheery fresh flowers waiting on the table and the home is so very nice and the views are vast. The hot tub was clear, ready to go and although you feel like you are off the beat and path, you are still only a few short miles to restaurants! Loved It!!!

Wonderful

The house was fantastic and just as described. And the view from the property was unbelievable. We stayed there with one other couple, and the layout of the house is perfect for that, essentially two master suites connected by a living room for hanging out, drinking wine and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Would definitely return!

Heaven!

My family had a wonderful experience at the Copia vineyard guesthouse. It was such a peaceful retreat and gave you a true sense of wine country only 2 minutes from downtown! Loved the open floor plan, awesome jacuzzi overlooking an amazing view, best equipped kitchen I’ve ever had at a vrbo, the house was clean, well designed and even had laundry! Christie the manager was wonderful to work with and very attentive. We can’t wait to stay at Copia again! Thanks for sharing your gorgeous property with us!

Wine vacation with friends

Nice, quiet but close to town. Wonderful view. Very happy with our choice - accommodations were spacious and well-appointed, kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, bakeware, spices, etc. for making full meals. Towels, washcloths, soap, shampoo, cotton balls, q-tips, first aid kit (unfortunately had to find that out) all available. Hot tub was wonderful. Enjoyed the bottle of wine! Thank you, we’ll be back.

Convenient to downtown but away from the hubbub!

Absolutely gorgeous property! The views from the property are unparalleled. We were in town for a wedding, and it was delightful to come back to this serene and lovely property after all the peoplely events. Conveniently located to downtown and the 101. The house is extremely well-maintained and very well-stocked. Plenty of coffee was provided for the Keurig, and the toiletries were plentiful and of high quality. The washer and dryer worked flawlessly, as did the dishwasher. The living room is spacious and very liveable. Both bathrooms are huge! Our only disappointment was that the king bed was too soft for our comfort; however, everything else made up for that.

Wonderful home

This home is a absolutely wonderful home for a small family, My husband and my daughter with three kids fit fine in this house, The location was out on open country but still close to town and view are amazing. It would of been nice to have a small dresser to put our small clothing in a drawer, stead of floor. Bathroom is large but would love a bathtub in one of the bathroom. But jacuzzi was wonderful overlooking the back yard. Thank you very Christie for welcoming us with Copia wine, my daughter and my husband finished it in one night. Even my grand kids loved the home so much, they wanted to know when we were coming back. We will definatelly be back.

Beautiful Location with Single Dad Chic and Motel 6 Sheets

So the house is fine and the location is stunning as you can see in the pictures. We were there for two nights and it was fine. But some gripes: 1. A toilet ran keeping my brother up at night. Also would not flush later in the stay. 2 The bedding has Motel 6 envy. The sheets are polyester and you can create sparks with just your hand and the pillow are serviceable if you fold them in half or stack them. I am a snob about this but my wife is not and even she thought the pillows suck. Also, the place is huge, why no king beds? 3. The light by the spa was out so if you go to the spa after dark bring your own flashlight (The stars were beautifully but it would have been nice to see the steps). 4. There is little to no furniture in the bedroom to put any luggage on, let alone put clothes in. Closets were missing hardware. Getting in and out were easy. The instructions were clear (Although it might be nice to add an address in the email with the codes to get in). The location is stunning and the wine is very good (thank you for the bottle). We had a good time but it could have been more comfortable and the communication better.

Perfect couples retreat

Our stay at the source was absolutely perfect and just what the doctor ordered. It offered privacy and space to mingle and spend time together. The views are breath taking. Location is right in the heart of Paso . We didn’t realize the home is attached to a winery. We paid Copia wines a visit on a Monday. It was PERFECT …. We meant the Owners Anita and Varinder the wine, staff and the ambiance was one of the most pleasant experiences we encountered on our getaway. So much so, we ended up becoming members!!! Can’t wait to return !!!!

Perfect weekend getaway

We stayed in the "Source" house. (There are 2 houses that are rented). Clean, spacious, and new. Hosts were excellent. Easy check in/check out. Note that the tasting room is not on this property, but a 10 min drive away. Had a great time! No issues and would stay here again.

Beautiful Location, Needs Some TLC

Views are amazing, loved the winery. That said, the house needs some TLC, which I communicated to the manager with no reply before posting this review. The king air bed was deflated, the mattress disgusting. The manager replaced the bed the next day, Sunday. Our guests arrived to stay in the queen bedroom, the bed was not comfortable and the shower head put out a couple tiny streams of water so they had to use our bathroom. Just needs a good cleaning, fix the windows that don't open and the screens the are askew, vacuum up the dust throughout and flies on the windowsill, give the cupboards a wipe and it would be great. Replace the string lights that are broken and burned out, it's beautiful outdoors and perfect if you have dogs.

Why they chose this property

Life's path is seldom straight. You move forward, then back, then side-to-side and somehow, forward again. For us, it all started in Chicago and Indianapolis, when hours of getting to know one another turned into years. There was a shy glass of Provençal rosé, which led to a serious Grand Cru from Burgundy, that then took us to an opulent line-up of wines from Booker Vineyard. And that was all in 2015! When we found ourselves in Paso Robles at the end of that year, we looked at each other and said, "Now that's what's up." No matter what came before, or how it all unfolded, it was momentous. There can be a million reasons to not do something, but in the end, there only needs to be one powerful reason to move forward. It simply feels right. It's kismet. In 2015, our paths converged, we traveled to Paso Robles and we have not looked back since.

The running leaps we have taken since those first moments in Paso have lead us to COPIA. We desired to make the very best wine we could from the very best grapes we could find and grow. We found our special place in 2017: Fifty acres of paradise-on-earth in the Willow Creek District that made us both feel that we were coming home. Breathtakingly beautiful slopes, calcareous soils and strong marine influence made it an ideal site for us to plant our vineyard in 2019.

This could be a lucid dream, but the wine stains on our hands make it all too real. Heartstrong and headstrong, we continue to leap into the future. We've got a few vintages and harvests under our belts and we could not be more grateful for all of the people that have helped us along the way. Family. Eric. Pete. Booker Vineyard. The Denner crew. The great people and wine community of Paso Robles. We love you all. If this is a lucid dream...then we'll stay sleeping.
