About this property

Beautiful Private Country Home with 3 bedroom/2 baths nestled in the North Georgia mountains . Property (STR 011-2019) next to Montaluce Winery, minutes from downtown Dahlonega where you can enjoy the history, dining and ambiance of the square. Close to beautiful waterfalls, parks, biking and hiking trails. Plenty of beautiful streams and waterfalls to explore. The home sits on six beautiful acres on a quite country road. Come and explore!

This country style 2,000 sq. foot home is fully equipped with a gourmet kitchen, outdoor grill, cable tv and internet, and boasts a magnificent master bathroom complete with an oversized shower and two-person soaking tub. The house comes with one king-sized bed in the master bedroom, one queen bed and two twin beds (twin beds located in loft.) The home sleeps 6 comfortably, yet easy to accommodate more, if needed. There is a large dining room table that will seat 10 or more - perfect for your family gatherings.

Please no smoking or pets allowed in the house. However, I do have 1 outside cat which you may or may not see. I will have premeasured cat food and would appreciate if you could feed them for me. There may or may not be a rooster roaming around the yard, he comes and goes and he is harmless ... but you don't have to feed him.

Charming home

Such a beautiful and cozy home. So close to winery for wedding. The host was amazing and so hospitable she thinks of everything. She was easy to communicate with very helpful. I wish I stayed longer but will definitely rebook. You won’t be disappointed at Katie J.

Lifelong Friends Get-together

My friends and i were looking for a place to decompress, enjoy some wine, cook, laugh, and hike. This absoltelt fit the bill completely. It was very cozy with a warm and inviting living room open to the kitchen, perfect for cooking, drinking, and enjoying company! We loved how close it was to one of our favorite wineries, Monteluce. Every little thing was thought of to make the stay comfortable! We are planing another trip and are thinking how wonderful it would be to bring family!!!! Thank you, Katy J!

I am retired and love to travel. This is giving me the opportunity to see the country. I enjoy entertaining and love sharing my country home. My husband played guitar and other string instruments and love playing Bluegrass music and old time music on the square in downtown Dahlonega.

Why they chose this property

I lived in Atlanta for the past 30 years and would always come here with my family to get away from the big city. There are lots of outdoor activities including, tubing, hiking, panning for gold, fishing, swimming, biking, local festivals and many more activities including touring historic Dahlonega.

What makes this property unique

The main house was built in 1930 and was just 800 sf and we fell in love with the area and house. We have added 3 large decks, large master bathroom with a 5 x 8' shower, large soaking tub, gourmet kitchen, large family room with fireplace with lots of windows overlooking the beautiful yard. Quite area and located close to town. I furnish a lot of the necessities such as; sheets, towels, shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath, soap, hair dryers, dishes, silverware, pots, pans, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dish and dishwashing soap, hand soap, detergent for the washing machine and fabric softener. A welcome gift basket is also included. So, check with me before you come to see what you need to bring.
