Better than the beach! Thats what our guests tell us. This property is for the family that wants the best of what St. Augustine has to offer.

Buena Vista is a beautiful, newly renovated luxury house directly on the Intracoastal Waterway across from downtown St. Augustine. 3 king bedrooms, two with attached bathrooms. The fourth bedroom has two bunk beds, for 4 kids or adults. The fifth has a day bed-twin bed with twin trundle. There are 3 full baths and 2 half baths. Completely renovated in 2018, this house is beautifully finished, with new beds, new furniture,new everything. The kitchen will wow you. Brand new modern cabinets,top of the line Jenn-Air appliances, built in 42" refrigerator, 6 burner range, and equipment for the gourmet chef. The covered veranda overlooks the Matanzas River, with the sailboat fleet directly in front and the ancient city skyline behind it. The picturesque Bridge of Lions twinkles in the evening, just a few hundred yards upriver. 5 minutes to downtown, 5 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to everything. This is the best location in St. Augustine.
Bring your boat or fish right off the dock-the fishing in the Matanzas is excellent-the Atlantic is only a mile through the inlet.
Just 1 mile from Anastasia State Park- one of the 'worlds best beaches", with boat rentals, kids playground, snack bar, restrooms, plenty of parking.

Sip cocktails on the veranda , or in the spa as the tour boats pass in the river, the sun sets over the water, or as the City lights up in the evening. The views are spectacular. You will never tire of them.

The pool and spa are heated for year-round use. 4 bikes and 2 double kayaks are provided. We also have fishing poles for guest use.

Awesome House

We had an amazing time at this house. We spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub overlooking the water. The paddle board and Kayak were huge hits and the guys loved fishing off the dock in the evenings.We got to see dolphins, turtles and we even saw a shark a couple of days.The house has absolutely everything you can think of for cooking, baking, Grilling or whatever Awesome location! I would definitely book this home again.

Amazing House and Location!

This was a fantastic vacation home. The sunsets were beautiful and the easy access to pool and Intracoastal waterway were perfect for our family. We enjoyed using the bikes and kayaks too! We hope to visit again!!

A wonderful experience, the house invites and provides for convivial times.

A group of families and friends, we had a great week. The house is spacious, comfortable, unbelievably well equipped, and with stunning views of St Augustine, not to mention the glorious sunsets. Great restaurants within walking distance are an added bonus.

Great Location

My family really enjoyed our week in St. Augustine. We loved the house with all of the amenities. Amazing Property

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The house was incredibly spacious even with 10 people. The pool and and full-length deck were our favorite spots to hang out and enjoy our time together. The house was well stocked, clean, and located in a quiet neighborhood. This is by far one of the best VRBO locations we've stayed at. We're already looking to book this property again for next year's family vacation.

This is going to be our go to house every year

Unfortunately we were evacuated early due to hurricane Ian but this house is amazing. The few days we spent here were outstanding and can’t wait to go back next year. Linda was great and really helped us out with the evacuation. The location is perfect and the house has everything you need.

Great vacation at a great location

The house looked brand new and was comfortable and very convent. The great view from the large porch overlooked the pool and the downtown St. Augustine skyline. The home was close to the many attractions of St. Augustine. The dock was great for fishing and viewing all the passing boats. We'll be back.

Wonderful View Wonderful House

We enjoyed our annual family vacation at Buena Vista in St. Augustine, Florida. It was perfect for a COVID stay as we cooked most our meals in the chef’s kitchen. The beds were comfortable, could offer some flatter pillows. We enjoyed the bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to families, girls getaway, couples retreat, etc... KS

The view, the view, the view!!! This property is perfect in every way, location, flow, the pool, clean, and decorated so nice. The view, big water views and city lights across the river. Magical sunsets

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property in St Aug. Given the pandemic restrictions, this was a perfect oasis to have the family. Everything posted on the property profile was accurate but understated when it came to the daily sunsets that we all loved so much. Would love to return.

Manatee & Sea Turtle View

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful property. We saw manatees and a sea turtle right at the property. The spacious home was filled with artwork of every kind which we loved. The kitchen had every gadget we could ever need and plenty of dishware. Sitting on the veranda was our favorite part. Thank you for a lovely stay.

St Augustine has been our go to vacation spot for 40+ years. We’ve rented many properties in that time span from condos to villas to houses. None have compared to Buena Vista. To say it exceeded our expectations is an understatement. Can not wait to return!

We had a group of 10 staying here and we had every amenity needed for a wonderful week. We spent a lot of time at the beach but had this beautiful pool and scenery to come back to. We stayed here most of the time cooking out and just enjoying the view. One extra was the comfort of the beds, usually when we go anywhere that is an issue. But everyone was very comfortable. We will definitely keep this on our come back list!

Perfect Mix

This property is such a wonderful mix of what St. Augustine has to offer! It’s close enough to downtown to enjoy the museums, shops, and restaurants; and just far enough away to still feel the serenity of a beach vacation. The view out back is incredible and enjoying it from the large patio was certainly a highlight of our trip. The house is beautiful and well stocked. Every need has been anticipated, and everyone in our group, from baby to grandpa, was comfortable. It was a joy to explore this unique town and a pleasure to do it while staying on such a great property!

Great stay at Buena vista!

The property is even better than it looks on line. Absolutely everything you could need is supplied. Both indoor and outdoor areas were wonderful. We used the pool every day. We caught some really big bonnet head sharks off the dock. This was our first stay at St Augustine. The area has so much to offer. It's a great family vacation area. The only problem was that the week ended too quickly.
