Welcome to Alamo City Getaway! Our goal is to provide a relaxing home so that you can have a memorable time in San Antonio.

Before booking we kindly ask to keep our house rules in mind: Max occupancy is 8 guests, no parties, no pets, and no smoking indoors. If these rules suit your needs we would love to host your family. Located 4 miles from Sea World, 9 miles from Lackland, and 16 miles from Six Flags, La Cantera, and Downtown SA. We welcome BMT Grad Fams! Looking forward to hosting ya’ll soon!

The pool is always open but it is not heated. If you are looking to swim in the winter months, the water may be too cold. Even during cooler months, our backyard is still a great place to stargaze and relax with the family!

Our home is family friendly and equipped with a pack and play upon request.

Guests will have access to the entire home with the exception of the garage. Parking for 2 vehicles is available in the driveway.

When booking please enter the correct number of guests to ensure adequate towels and toiletries. **Please respect our maximum occupancy of 8 guests.** Parties are not allowed, no outside guests. Our home is strictly an animal-free/smoke free zone due to severe allergies.

There are exterior ring security lights with cameras on the property and a ring doorbell at the entrance.

My family stayed here for about 10 days in June (4 adults and 3 kids). The house was perfect! There was plenty of room for everyone and it was a great house for the kids. The pool was amazing to have during the summer heat. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed ourselves very much at this house. We chilled as a family a couple of nights and just grilled out and enjoyed the pool. Jay was very easy to work with and quick to respond if I had any questions. Look forward to staying here again next year for AAU tournament!

Good stay. Loved the pool. Host could do better equipping home for a family of 6. 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper, 3 garbage bags and 2 dishwasher pods don’t last a family a full 7 days. I like a fully equipped house so I don’t spend all my vacation at the market. Otherwise a comfortable home and very family friendly.

We loved this house! It was absolutely amazing for our family. The set up was perfect & had tons of space. Bathrooms are wonderful with a jacuzzi tub in the master that our kids enjoyed. The pool is great size & the fenced in yard was great. We were very sad to leave. Can’t wait to visit again.

Perfect Family Vacation Retreat

We truly enjoyed our stay at this home. The pool was wonderful, and the house was everything promised in the description. My favorite room was the screened-in back porch - I went out there every morning with coffee in hand to do my daily devotions. The variety of bird songs that accompanied me was amazing! BMT Getaway indeed

It is indeed a great location for BMT graduation. The neighborhood is quiet and nice and the house is about 15 min from Lackland. 4 bedrooms so you have plenty of room if you need it. There were only a few of us so we spent most of our time in the awesome screened-in patio in the back yard. We stayed in Jan so we didn't use the pool but I'll bet it's great when the weather is warm. The house was clean and organized and we really enjoyed staying there.

Home with pool

The house was nice and very clean, but we rented the house for the pool. It had green algae in the pool that you could move with a broom. Speaking with the manager he in formed us it was because of the rain that day. My grandkids were very disappointed that they could not swim, which is why we rented the house. Very disappointed with the whole experience.

This was me and my families first time using the VRBO service. I was apprehensive all the way up to walking in Jay's front door.After a long drive the day of our arrival, we all would have just settled for an air mattress in somebodies back yard. But when we walked in it was just wow!! After staying there this week I have now decided to forget what a hotel is. Thank you so much for allowing a bunch of strangers to stay in your beautiful home. We had a fantastic time. Me and my significant other were constantly looking for reasons to leave whatever activity we were doing at that moment and just heading back to Timber Loche and relax by the pool.

Perfect house for our stay

We were in SA for Bmt graduation for 2nd son in 3 months- wish we would have found this house with first graduation! The house is large, clean, comfortable and bedrooms are far enough apart you aren’t disturbed by others and showers have good water pressure! (That’s a thing for me). The screened in patio and pool were soo nice but a little chilly on this trip to use- My son was able to come back and relax on pass and eat home cooked food he’d been craving. We grilled, had a nice fire in fireplace and did exactly what he wanted to do- just relax! The neighborhood was really nice and we had everything we needed within a 5 minute drive. We don’t have any more kids graduating from bmt anytime soon but if we did need to come back I’d definitely see if this house was available.

This property is in a great location to everything. The home needs a little TLC. Frying pans need to be replaced and as in notes left, there are things that this property needs in order to make it more comfortable. The pool was a relif from the hot humid days.
