Bass Cabin is a fully furnished, log sided cabin on Rend Lake. Bass Cabin joins Buck Cabin and The Pines Cabin as the newest cabins on Rend Lake. Bass Cabin can hold up to 6 friends and family members and is outfitted specifically to accommodate your getaway. Whether you come to fish, hunt, golf, boat, tour wineries or just relax on the porch with a good book, Rend Lake Buck&Bass Cabins is the place for you. All guests also have access to the amenities at the Rend Lake Golf Resort, three minutes from the cabins. The Golf Resort offers an outdoor seasonal pool, jacuzzi housed in a gazebo, tennis, basketball and volleyball court, complimentary bicycles for the bike trail, full-service restaurant, and bar and grille. However, you choose to enjoy Rend Lake, come back to your cabin to relax around the fire pit, maybe roast s’mores, but definitely make memories with family and friends.

Buck&Bass Cabins are only three minutes from Exit 77 on Interstate 57 just south of Mt. Vernon and north of Benton, Illinois. These cabins are perfect for families, fishers, hunters, reunions, antique hunters, and anyone who deserves a relaxing getaway. Bass Cabin has two-bedrooms, one-bath, a kitchen and living area with a queen size futon. One bedroom has two Twin XL beds. The second bedroom has a King Bed that can be transformed into two Twin XL beds. Bass Cabin can sleep 6 adults. All linens and kitchen appliances are provided.

If Bass Cabin is not available or if you need a second cabin for your perfect family reunion, Buck Cabin and The Pines Cabin are nearby and also fully furnished. Book now for a fun-filled family reunion. If Buck&Bass cabins are not available, try Seasons Condos. The condos sit right on Rend Lake Golf Course, a beautiful 27-hole course where golfers say they enjoy the “wide tree-lined fairways and huge greens.” All of these are Seasons Lodge properties and available on VRBO.

Great location to get away from it all

We met some good friends of ours and stayed at the cabin. Even though it was January, when we walked into the cabin, it was nice and warm and so welcoming. Exactly what we were looking for - a quiet place to go off the grid or the night! We will definitely come back again.

Cabin was lovely with modern features. Everything worked great!

Only issue we had was there were quite a few spider webs inside the cabin when we checked in and the toilet seat cover was off for some reason. Otherwise the cabins were both amazing.

Thanks Dayna. The spiders I understand. We had a very bad month in the area. We had sprayed. We have sprayed again but as you may know spiders are very resistant to sprays. It does seem that a change in weather and or the spraying alleviated the issue. The toilet seat is a head scratcher. It is back on. We look forward to your return real soon. B&B

Great little getaway

We stayed at the Bass Cabin. They supplied everything you needed for a relaxing weekend. The only complaint I have is the beds were not comfortable at all. They were as hard as a rock.

Surprise weekend getaway for our son

We booked the cabin for our sons Birthday, since he absolutely loves to fish! The cabin was very clean and stocked with everything you will need. Our son caught an almost 4lb catfish down at the boat ramp our second night there, and he was so excited! Cant wait to visit here again!!

Rend Lake Bliss

Even though it's only about an hour from our home, it's such a relaxing wonderful place to spend time. We absolutely love staying at the cabins and cherish our time there. The fishing was slow this weekend but that's not the cabin's fault. The accommodations are perfect for us as a couple. I'm sure it's not exciting or stimulating enough for those who need constant action, but it's just the right fit for us!!! Looking forward to next time!!

We booked this property for three nights for the total eclipse on April 8. It worked out perfectly for the eclipse. The unit was nicely appointed for a short stay. Since we are all senior adults that stayed, we appreciated the grab bars in the bathroom. Communication with the property manager was not the best. Certainly could improve upon that process. Overall, our stay was great.

Great location on the lake

This cottage is located right at the boat launch ramp. The cabin was clean and had a grill to cook steaks and chicken. No internet. It did have direct TV.
