About this property

Cozy Living Close to the Beach

This cozy cottage is a short walk to shopping, dining, and our beautiful beach with bike and walking path. You will feel safe at home in this quiet setting located directly behind the owner's 1882 Creole Cottage. Private parking and a large yard provide lots of space for pets and lounging.
This space includes almost 900 square feet of living area with all the comforts of home. The enclosed front porch has a washing machine and dryer, ironing board, iron and outdoor games. The back porch seating area overlooks the pond and pottery studio.

We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to going back. Very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Close to the beach and old town shops. But also far enough away from the train and the bars so very quiet. I’ve stayed in bay St. Louis frequently and this is definitely my new favorite.

What an amazing little cottage! We were there that weekend to celebrate my Aunts Wedding and Mardi Gras. Bay St. Louis has grown so much in the last 10 years, good and bad. It’s such a cute weekend-getaway town, with lots of adorable shops and amazing food. Sycamore House and Mockingbird Cafe will always be my go-to when visiting. This cottage is off the “main path” so you aren’t dealing with the main st. traffic, but still only blocks away from the fun! The cottage was much larger than I anticipated, full living room, kitchen and dining area. Lots of closet space as well as a great built in vanity area. Screened in porch was great and a must with gnats and mosquitos. This is a shared property. Owners lives in the front of the property, with the cottage in the behind. Parking is available, there is a wagon to help with unloading goods as the walkway is gravel. The Hosts were very friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. They left some towels out for our golf cart one morning because of the morning dew on the seats. Very thoughtful. Thanks for such a great stay! It was fun to catch up after all these years and to see the family and friends that still live there
