Quiet Getaway & Stargazing near Joshua Tree National Park

Our home was made for relaxing, meditating and disconnecting from the intensity of everyday life. It's quiet and isolated and the sky is big and beautiful. Sunrises and sunsets are the most magical times of the day. The night sky is stunning, with an abundant amount of shooting stars.

The space
Our property has 3 bedrooms with queen size beds in each. There are two full bathrooms (with bathtubs), one of which is attached to the master bedroom. The master bedroom is on one side of the house while the other two rooms are on the other, making it perfect for 3 couples or families with children.

We're about a 20-minute drive into Yucca Valley and downtown Joshua Tree. It's a perfect spot for those seeking a quiet getaway space. The views are Joshua Trees and beautiful mountains all around, if you sit still you can spot rabbits running around.

Guest access

Guests have access to the entire house (minus the garage) and 2 acre yard, stargazing deck and patio with firepit.

The kitchen is fully stocked with spices, dishes, pots and pans, and it's lots of fun to cook in. There's a dishwasher to make life easier. A microwave, a French press for coffee and an electric kettle.

The dining room table sits up to 8 guests comfortably.

Like all homes in the area, we have a septic system. We ask that you do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet.

There is heating for winter and a/c for summer.

We have an outdoor observation deck to the side of the house- it's a perfect spot for morning coffee or yoga and amazing at night to watch the stars.
Other things to note
The neighborhood is very dark, so we recommend arriving while there's still light outside.

Also please note that there is no wifi. Depending on your service provider, you might not have great cell reception although this isn't usually a problem. Most guests are surprised by how much fun they have without WiFi and TV.

Fees

Nightly price is the same for any number of guests.
Cleaning fee is $95 for any length of stay.
