My husband and I spent our short 3 day weekend skiing for our 4th wedding anniversary. Everything about staying at the lodge was convenient - from the ability to hit the slopes immediately after arriving and before check in (with valet parking and the bell valet to store our luggage) to the ski valet to store our boots and skis just steps from the slopes.
The food options at the resort were also key - Alpine Hall was excellent for both dinner and breakfast every day. While everything is a little more expensive on mountain, we were happy to pay to maximize our time on the slopes.
The only thing I'd recommend is having material about where to find/ how to use the ski valet before check in (whether in the listing or check in materials) for those who choose to ski before check in to easily find. That's nitpicking though!
Thanks for the great weekend!
The room is exactly as described. Very clean and will all the amenities you could expect from a hotel room with small fridge/sink area. The pre-checkin info communicated by the host was on point and valuable. If you’ve never been to the lodge, the place is huge. This unit is one of the farthest from the reception area. If you do not have any mobility issues then this is fine and we kind of appreciated the fact that it was not in the middle of the action. Very quiet and we were able to enjoy some quiet time on the balcony. The unit at the back of the lodge facing the mountain. The view from the balcony is a vehicule roundabout and get a bit busy if there is something happening at the arts center. Nothing major though and again we really enjoyed the room and the location. Some people like valet parking and some don’t. We kind off don’t because you’re no free to come and go as you wish as you have to hail the car every time. They do make it easy by using a text message system to retrieve your car but make sure you request it a bit ahead of time if during busy periods of the day. We will definitely return next year and we would certain,y book the same unit. 5-10 minute drive to everything in Stowe.
The place was amazing - great view and super comfortable. The amenities made everything SO convenient (car valet, ski valet, restaurants right on the property) - we will definitely be back!
What a great little apartment in the spruce peak lodge. The little kitchenette was amazing for quick small home cooked meals during peak season when all restaurants were crazy booked. The apartment it self had amazing amenities and during times of covid the lack of a person coming to do house keeping in our opinion was a huge plus for us. The only issue we would say would have been the extremely worn bed, while it did provide a night sleep it was not quality as the bed was clearly sunken in but a LOT of people. Overall rating 4.4/5 (the only ding would be for the bed, and lack of a shower head).
Property was as described. Impressed as to how much you can get into a room. Wish there was more activities, crafts, movies, etc to do in the area. But was relaxing nevertheless.
Excellent property with great access to ski slopes.
Excellent property with great access to ski slopes. Staff were great. Added ski valet made get on and off slopes easy. Available access to SPA. Only negative was location in building required long walk to get dogs out of the building
Very convenient: ski valet and short walk to gondola, kitchenette to cook your own small meals, dishes and condiments
High quality: bed, linens, toiletry amenities, tv, fireplace, bathroom in general
Great communication: Stephanie promptly answers all your questions and is very customer-friendly
Would definitely stay again!
Very Cozy and Clean, Linen is very high quality. Plenty of necessities. Coffee etc.
I would definitely stay here again. Valet and Ski Valet is the best ever.

Good skiing, lodge was too much...
The skiing was good. However, the lodge experience was too luxury focused for me. The inability to self-park and access my vehicle without getting the valet to retrieve it for me was not to my taste. Also, not being able to bring my own luggage to my room was too controlling for me.

Great location. Nice room, although a little small
Although tight for a family of 4, the room is very nice and in good condition and has a lot of areas to store things so they are out of the way. Baggage racks, drawers on wheels, cabinets make it much easier. The bathroom is large and very nice. And there’s a great view from the balcony. The lodge is great. They have a valet ski service which makes it great coming on and off the mountain. Overall fits 4 comfortably enough and the location is perfect.
