Property is spacious, clean and centrally located for trekking in the Twelve Pins/BensA couple of things that would make a real difference- a second toaster and kettle as the property accommodates 13.
Great location to be based out of for day trips north, east & south to view & see the Wild Atlantic Way Coast & Mountains to the east. Even got day trip down to Cliffs of Mohr & back. Great sunsets, restaurants nearby & shopping in Clifton.
The house was spacious with several bedrooms and baths. The communal areas were great, divided by doors that when closed kept sound from carrying. The kitchen was well equipped. We had an extended family from 70 years to 14 months old and it was perfect. The 14 month old starting walking while we were there! Great memories.
We had an absolutely amazing time in Moyard and Clifden. The house was extremely well taken care of and cozy. The grounds and views were gorgeous and the surrounding countryside filled with so many adventures! The only down side was having to leave! We would have loved to have stayed longer and will definitely recommend to anyone heading to Ireland.
The hosts were exceptionally responsive and helpful and provided us with so many great suggestions for activities. Almost every bedroom had its own bathroom making the stay for our whole extended family easy and trouble free. We cannot recommend this place enough!
Absolutely wonderful place for a large family holiday
We had a marvellous holiday with grandparents, adult children their partners and five children. The place is big enough for everyone to have their own space, with large communal areas and a well equipped kitchen. It feels like home as soon as you have unpacked. Connemara offers so much to do and is so beautiful. When it rains, which it does from time to time, you just stay at home, or carry on regardless. Highly recommended.
We booked the house mainly due to the location and the size of the gardens. We took our dogs with us and wanted to make sure the gardens were secure and there was enough space. We would not have been happier. The gardens are wonderful being set in around 1 acre and beautifully maintained.
The house was huge for just two of us and we spent two wonderful weeks in this fabulous location visiting the superb beaches and our relatives.
Gerard was really helpful and would highly recommend this house
This house was perfect for our Ireland trip to the Wild Atlantic Coast. Perfectly situated to go north and south to enjoy all the region has to offer. A post card view is around every bend in the road. The host and manager “Dave” was very accommodating throughout our trip and prior to our arrival. The house and kitchen were well equipped for all our needs with spacious rooms and plenty of bathrooms. A beautifully kept lawn and picturesque view was perfect for enjoying a morning coffee and biscuit in a grand dining hall. The WiFi was very reliable which was a requirement for our journey as there was still some work requirements to be had. Besides learning to drive on the left and some wee tiny roads “skyroad” lol, it was the trip of a lifetime. Many thanks to Gerard and Dave for making us feel welcome and providing an amazing retreat!

We had a great stay in Moyard. The property was spacious and adequately equipped, the children particularly enjoyed the large garden. The house was was well positioned to allow us to travel and experience the amazing view’s, the beautiful beaches, the rugged mountains and much more.An experience we as grandparents, our children and our grandchildren will never forget. Thank you.
Huge house with plenty of space for a large family or group. Wonderful landscaped grounds. The setting may seem a little out of the way, but its a short drive to Clifden and all of Connemara, as well as to the ferry to Inishbofin Island. A few minor incoveniences - some tiny breaks in furniture and such. But overall this is a wonderful property
Wir hatten eine großartige Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Es war alles da was gebraucht wurde. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! Vielen Dank für alles.
The house was really spacious and the garden was huge. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. There is beautiful beaches nearby and lovely places to eat in Clifden. We had a great holiday.
Great place with a lovely garden. For a large group the kitchen would benefit from a larger or a second fridge, chopping boards and sharp knives. Great base for mountains and sea.
Just back from a week in moyard. We were 3 families with range of ages from babies to teenagers lots of room bedrooms are really spacious and lots of bathrooms for teens!!
House was clean and massive garden for kids to run around and so close to Clifden and letterfrack
Ideal location for touring surrounding areas such as inishbofin and ballyconnelly beaches
