When you stay at this amazing architecturally designed home, you will be steps from beautiful Tamarack Beach and 50 yards from Agua Hedionda lagoon and trails. This property offers multiple outdoor spaces and features a rooftop deck complete with cozy seating, fire ring and Jacuzzi. Spacious private master suite with King memory foam bed,2 sided gas fireplace, and sitting area. Bedroom 2 has Queen memory foam bed. Bedroom 3 has a Queen bed. Loft area has full fold out sofa. Restaurants, Carlsbad Village as well as boardwalk are all an easy walk. Delightful sea breezes, but has A/C if needed. Beautiful sunset views in a quiet friendly neighborhood!

Rates are subject to change until rates are confirmed.

House Rules: No outside activities or noise after 9 pm on weeknights and between the hours of 10 pm and 9 am on weekends.
*The premises shall be used as a three (3) bedroom residence with no more than 7 people to occupy the house overnight during the rental period.

*Trash & recyclables to be stored in bin provided in garage. Trash pick up days are early Monday morning. Please place cans on street Sunday evening and return after they have been emptied.

*Parking to be in garage (1 small to medium car) or on street directly in front of house. Driveway must be kept clear at all times.

*No smoking allowed in the house or on the grounds.

Looking forward to returning!

My family and I had an amazing stay in Carlsbad! Property was very clean and oh so welcoming. House was comfortable and had lots of space for everyone to relax. Everyone found a reason to head up to the favorite rooftop hangout spot as often as possible. Location was terrific and close to so many things. Special shououts to Leucadia Pizza (yummy) and Daily News Cafe (best breakfast). Not only would I unequivocally recommend, my whole family is asking for me to schedule another stay soon!

Great Location - True Gem

We loved staying here. It was only a 15 minute walk to downtown Carlsbad and a block away from the beach. The place is clean and well stocked. Parking on the street was very easy. We will definitely stay here again.

About the host

Our main residence is in Southeastern Idaho, but we have owned second homes in Carlsbad since 2009 that we have rented out through VRBO. This isn't just a vacation rental, it is our second home. We purchased this home in the fall of 2017, but are well acquainted with the neighborhood. Our children and grandchildren love to come to the "beach house" to relax and you will often find us in Carlsbad when the weather is cold and snowy in Idaho!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the white water views, the cozy updated home and the close proximity to the best beach in Carlsbad, Tamarack Beach!

What makes this property unique

We love the rounded front with barrel windows that afford a whitewater and beach view to the south. We have always loved brick glass, especially the spiral staircase to the roof which is a tower of brick glass. When it is lit at night, it really sets this house apart from the others! The view from the roof top deck is breath taking, and takes in the ocean, lagoon and the hills of east Carlsbad.
