This beautiful beach house has two bedrooms and two full baths, with a roomy living area, dining room and family room with a sleeper sofa. My mom was visiting from Arizona and instead of getting her a hotel negate my place is too small to host I rented her this place. I stayed in the second room and we had a great time catching up. Lovely home fully set up to cook. Great location. Of you don't know South Oceanside is the best.

Clean house and great location

The property was very clean and provided a great amount of space for our group. It is within walking distance of multiple restaurants, and only a short drive from others. Check in and check out was simple and efficient. Would definitely recommend!

Oceanside retreat

We really loved staying in this home and look forward to coming again! The patio was so relaxing. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit, grilling, & enjoying family time. Everything you want or need is supplied in the kitchen. The owner is easy to communicate with and answered any questions promptly! We also loved the location and the peaceful neighborhood. This is a five star house!

Oceanside vacation home

The location was the very best! The home was a bit cluttered for our taste and had little space to sit and eat besides the formal dining area. Plenty of space, good parking and the neighborhood was great to walk to the beach and restaurants. We always felt safe here. The place was quiet and clean.

The property was immaculate. It was well stocked. Pictures were true to property. It is convenient to carlsbad and Oceanside. We beached in carlsbad and took walks into carlsbad every day since that’s our favorite beach. The owner was really easy to work with. We would rent this again and recommend it to our friends.

Oceanside House Rental

House was spotless and well stocked with kitchen items and paper goods. Outside gas fireplace and of course a barbeque for outdoor cooking. Modern appliances and comfortable beds. Owners were quick to respond to any questions we had on the area or events etc. Close to local beach , restaurants and many small shops. Neighborhood was very quiet and has lots of parking areas. It was very convenient for our outings. It was a great experience and hope to return in the near future. Thanks to Don and Mary Jo who made us feel at home. Brian & June Gibson

Fun time - few issues!

We have stayed in dozens of VRBOs so I feel like I have broad experience. I traveled with my husband, 3 kids. The loc. is great for certain things. We were able to walk to a breakfast place, gas/convenience store, Mexican restaurant, brewery and more. There is also great access to an almost waterfront walking route and we loved walking it - about a 2-3 mi. We did it with two strollers and a special needs kiddo… point being the walk is very assessable. To the north - about a mile the neighborhood is not as desirable. North O is not the same vibe as South O. Sandy beaches are a 5-8 min drive away. Public parking lots available for $5 all day. A great price! We got to the Oceanside City Beach at 9:30 on a Sat. and the parking lots had plenty of room. Bathrooms, food, and lifeguards available. A few of the beach chairs at the house need to be replaced asap. We sat down in one and fell through because the fabric has gone bad. The boogie boards (2) and umbrella (1) are helpful. There are also about 5-6 beach towels at the house which was great. The house itself is interesting. It has split levels, sharp/hard stone floors/stairs to different levels (my daughter fell (special needs) and demolished her shins on the stone steps). There is no primary suite.. Just two bedrooms and two baths. There is an upstairs unit which someone occupies - I wish this had been more obvious in the property description. We could hear people walking around up there but otherwise never saw them. There is a formal living room staged with a bunch of antique furniture - not practical for anyone - we never used that room once which is 1/4 of the house you have available. There was a large TV in the family room but no box or cable or option for watching anything (roku, etc). Wish we had known that. The reviews rave about the kitchen. It’s nice, but doesn’t have a lot of options (very few bowls, no food storage options (Tupperware or ziplock) no stemless wine glasses or acrylic wine glasses for outdoors, no tin foil… but we were able to get by cooking two dinners and two breakfasts. The bar height countertop table is also not practical - tight fit and right next to stairs. We mostly ate outside. All patio furniture had to be dusted off/cleared of cobwebs, leaves. The bedding throughout the house needs an update. There should be area rugs in the bedrooms because it echoes and it’s pretty sterile under your feet. Window coverings need an update. Bathrooms were very nice!

Perfect Stay

Perfect stay. Great location, quiet neighborhood, great house & amazing kitchen. All the little things you need for daily life (spices, laundry supplies, shampoo, paper towels, etc) Very comfortable, felt like home for sure. Check in was soooo easy. Check out was great and easy and a very small to do list. Would definitely stay here again. So happy with everything.

House came as advertised. There was a small hiccup with a bathroom that the owner tackled very quickly. It did not disrupt our plans in the slightest. Wonderful Stay – Clean, Cozy, and Perfect Location

The property was very well-kept and spotless when we arrived. The beds (and even the couch!) were super comfy, making it easy to relax. My friends and I spent most of our evenings around the fire pit, which was such a nice touch. It’s just a short walk to the water—we caught some beautiful sunsets—and it’s conveniently close to a local market and great restaurants. Liette was a great host, and I would definitely stay here again!

Best vacation home Ever!

Our stay was an absolute dream! We had a family dinner for my husband’s 30th birthday. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and equipped with all the necessary items to cook a full family dinner. The backyard was a perfect spot to cook s'mores and enjoy a conversation. Plus walking to the beach, coffee shops and my fave pizza spot made the stay even better.
