Best Kept Secret No Longer Safe!!

This place was awesomAMAZING! Those has great space and comfort. It was equipped with everything we needed. The jacuzzi was cold upon arrival and guest services was ready to come service it, but we figured it out. Upstairs is perfect space for kids too! The King bed was super comfy! We would absolutely return, thank you for allowing us to visit ❤️.. I'M TELLING EVERYONE LOL!

Good stay and location

The property and location was beautiful. The upstairs queen mattress could stand to be upgraded, as they are not suited for adults, at all. The bathtub was not as clean as it should have been, but it wasn’t anything I couldn’t clean. The front porch and hot tub were fantastic. The kitchen was nice and a great gathering space for everyone to hang out around the island. Overall, it was lovely for the cost.

The cabin was very clean and fully stocked. We had a wonderful stay. The only things I would recommend would be a mirror in the upstairs bathroom, maybe put one on the back of the bathroom door. The bathroom mirror downstairs could use an upgrade as well. Also, the queen mattress probably needs to be replaced upstairs. Overall I would definitely recommend this cabin. It was hands down the cleanest one I have ever been to.

When we arrived, the hot tub was not working, the deck screening was broken and two of the lights in the back deck were not turning on. the roku remote for the living room area had dead batteries in it. when i called customer support, they said that there were spare batteries in the kitchen but there were no spare batteries in premises. there were cob webs in the ceiling and upper level. The did credit us a 90 fee but it made the trip less enjoyable and we probably won’t book again. i took videos of all evidence. Also, the check out ledger stated that check out was at 11am but they told us it was 10am.

Perfect getaway.

We enjoyed the cabin. Our visit served its purpose. We wanted to relax and enjoy the scenery. It rained everyday. The huge bathroom was nice. The kitchen was nice, although it could use an ice maker in the fridge. I loved the huge bed but my husband wasn’t too fond of the mattress. He slept better on the sofa. It rained everyday but we would definitely make another trip to Blue Ridge!! Thanks so much for the hospitality.

Cottage is dark

We spent four nights and we did not realize from the description that the cottage was so dark. The walls are dark stained with very dull lighting. The water is not filtered at the house level; the water filter on the refrigerator was red - indicating it needs to be changed. Also the infloor electrical is covered by carpet; the plug is not cleanly revealed from the surrounding carpet, presenting a fire hazard. The dishwasher does not appear to have ever been cleaned. The stainless steel interior is dulled and gross looking. I used the hot wash and sanitizer functions on the dishes we used.

Nice cabin but

Overall the cabin was really nice and relaxing and away from everyone. I enjoyed the cabin, but I will say that the cabin is outdated. The countertop was not as clean as I would have liked it. There was a spill on the countertop from the coffee maker. The icemaker did not work. The jacuzzi is old and it did not look clean. I am not saying that it wasn't cleaned it just did not look clean. There was a dirty ring or stain around the jacuzzi tub. But the cabin was really nice just outdated. The sofa was so comfortable.

Do Better!!!

Fireplace didn’t work. Garbage disposal didn’t work Carpet was old and had bugs and never had been clean! The pots and pans were non stick and so burnt and scratched that I went bought my own!!! Hot tub was also dirty and apparently filters didn’t work and water got filthy. Have pictures if needed.

Nice clean cabin

We thought the cabin was very neat & clean. Kitchens and bathrooms very clean. Appliances looked brand new. The outside of cabin could use a little work, maybe paint deck flooring, but that wasn’t a big deal to us. We had no problem with driveway, but was a little scary the first time. Glad we were warned it was gravel and steep incline. We enjoyed our stay

Peaceful Getaway

Peaceful time to Unplug!

Peaceful stay. We woke up and read was h morning on the screened in porch and it was raining! Super peaceful!! We also bought chicken eggs from a close neighbor, so that was fun having fresh eggs each morning. Close to cute Blue Ridge restaurants and shops. We ate at the Black Sheep twice - it was soooo good, and Chester’s once. Juliana’s was a great boutique that I found some great stuff! ❤️ Overall, wonderful stay. Could come back with the kids next time. The upstairs loft area was cute with 2 twin beds and a queen.

Was a nice place and we enjoyed our stay. If I were to make a few recommendations they would be 1) - first impressions count, with that said I would clean up/ paint the front porch deck and rails - weather worn, mildewed- 2) nice screened in porch but could use newer/ better furniture . 3) the rooms are rather dark could use more table lamps ( had to go to kitchen table to read a book ) 4) should have luggage trays in the bedrooms since there are not any dressers. 5) smelled pretty damp when we checked in. Great location and is close enough to town .
