Welcome to your home away from home on beautiful Kerr Lake in Bullock, NC! This bright, freshly updated lake house offers direct access to the main lake—perfect for anglers, boaters, and families alike. Relax in a rocking chair on the new front porch with your morning coffee while watching local wildlife, or head down the short path to your private dock.

Inside, you'll find a spacious, open-concept layout with A/C, Wi-Fi, and a partially solar-powered energy system. The large, fully stocked kitchen includes modern conveniences like a waffle iron, air fryer, crockpot, and dishwasher—ideal for family meals after a day on the water. The master suite features a queen bed and a private bath with a shower and luxurious sunken Jacuzzi tub. Two additional bedrooms and a full bath offer flexible sleeping arrangements, including a full bed, two XL twins (convertible to a king), and a sleeper sofa in the living room.

Unwind on the screened-in porch, grill out on the gas BBQ, or enjoy a campfire under the stars. The large circular driveway easily accommodates trucks and boat trailers.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please take trash to Granville Co Convenience Center 9053 US HW 15 Bullock. Hours are MWFSa 7am-6pm. If checking out on Sunday, please take trash on Saturday or place in big cans in car port.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Locked cabinets and doors are to remain locked. Any cabinets or doors found to have been opened during stay will result in the loss of damage deposit
Parking on grass anywhere on property is prohibited, including in front of porch. Damage will result in extra charges.
For security, cameras are located on the exterior of the home at each entrance and at the corners of house facing dock and front yard.

Beautiful house on the lake. Quiet, really nice dock. Our dog loved swimming in the lake. It was that the was eco friendly. Will try to stay there again next year. The hosts were very accommodating.

Sheltered cove was great for our boat.

Very roomy, loved the openness and high ceilings, heat and ac was great, enjoyed the jacuzzi, grassy creek is great for fishing, One drawback was the frequently barking dogs next door and all the stairs were a little bit of a challenge for us at ages 79 and 74.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The mornings were so quiet on the front porch and we watched deer, squirrels and bunnies, as well as listened to the birds. The back screened porch was perfect for our family. Our grown kids and grandkids stayed down at the dock swimming and fishing. Also, so spacious! Plenty of room for all of us. We absolutely loved our stay at the Buggs Island Bungalowe! So relaxing and the short walk to the private dock is just amazing! Rocky and I reside in Marysville, Ohio. Rocky's family has been vacationing at Kerr Lake for over 50 years, mostly at Occoneechee State Park and Rudd's Creek. After several years of driving an RV and hauling a boat we decided to pursue our dream of owning our own lake house so we could spend more time enjoying the lake and the area we love. We also wanted to have a home we could pass down to our children and grand children, so that they could honor the tradition.

Why they chose this property

We had been looking for the right property for over a year. Our realtor saved the best for last! We loved the area, even though we had mostly looked within Clarksville. I think I fell in love with the kitchen and the view from the back porch, and Rocky fell for the dock!

What makes this property unique

The huge selling point for us was the huge kitchen which is perfect for Sunday brunch and family dinners.
