Fox's Den is your home away from home in Gatlinburg. It's a beautiful cabin where you will feel right at home. You’ll love the cabin's location nestled in the woods on a quiet dead-end street perfect for families, or couples looking for a private retreat.
New furniture, flooring and hot tub! Please: NO PETS, NO SMOKING OR VAPING.

Fox's Den is in an ideal location in the middle of the historic Arts and Crafts Community! You don't even need your car to enjoy a short stroll to several craft shops, a wonderful cafe, and a trolley stop. A short 8 minute drive will put you right in the heart of Gatlinburg. Rocky Top Sports World is 3 minutes away, and the fun of Dollywood is just 15 minutes! The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is just minutes away so bring your hiking shoes or a fishing pole!

Your home away from home features a well-stocked kitchen, new appliances and everything you need for cooking, as well as a dining table that seats 6 comfortably. For extended stays, there's a washer/dryer and iron and ironing board. If you're bringing the kids along...a high chair and pack and play make traveling easier.

The living area offers two new comfy sofas (one is a sleeper sofa), and of course a large TV, free wi-fi and a cozy gas fireplace. Just off the living area is a private bedroom with a king bed and full bathroom. The 2nd loft bedroom offers a comfortable queen bed with another full bath.

Enjoy the quiet mountain air on the covered deck, or take a relaxing dip in the hot tub. A gas grill makes grilling a breeze.

Upon arrival, the cabin was gorgeous, clean, and cozy. Perfect for a little family getaway. Not even by midweek, we had loved the close location to Gatlinburg, hiking, and sightseeing so much that I had contacted the property manager for an additional possible night which was quickly answered and kindly approved - we were thrilled. By the end of our stay, we put down a deposit for Christmas the following year. The kitchen was great to make family meals every night, along with the hot tub to relax at the end of an eventful day. The property itself and the management was amazing and I would highly recommend!! We can't wait to go back!

Our stay at the Foxs Den was wonderful! The house was very clean, well maintained and stocked with just about everything we needed. Relaxing in the hottub after a day of hiking was perfect! The area was very peaceful. We did see a black bear walk through the yard one night! We would definitely recommend the Foxs Den for a great get-a-way in the mountains!

It was a cozy cabin with trees all around. We enjoyed the bbq and hot tub. The location was quiet and close to Gatlinburg. We went to Anakeesta and the Titanic museum in Pigeon Forge.

Everything was as described. Very comfortable and close to town. We appreciated that the home was stocked with the basics. Cute Christmas tree that we also appreciated since we were there for the holiday!

Beautiful and relaxing!

When issues happened, the property manager was easy to get in touch with and she fixed everything right away! Property was beautiful and comfortable for our family of 5. I made a review after our stay last year saying my only suggestion was to add curtains or shades on the windows and glass doors to add to the privacy and when we came back this year, there were shades for every window and door! We absolutely love this place and will be back again next year.

the drive to the cabin was great no steep hills and we were only a few minutes from Gatlinburg. if you plan on a uber to Gatlinburg do call them call the local taxi service instead, i waited over a hour just to have uber tell me it wasn't worth their time for the money it would have cost them to pick us up.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay. Nice quiet area but not too far from all the activities. The location had all the things we needed for our stay. We used the grill, hot tub, all beds including pull out sofa were all great. We will stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean, well stocked with comfy beds. It was quiet and we enjoyed just sitting on the porch listening to nature. The drive to the cabin was easy to get to, no scary roads and close to shopping.

Gatlinburg Christmas adventure!

Really great! Only about 4-5 miles from the strip. Very clean. Couldn't get fireplace to work but no big deal. Would definitely stay there again!

Cozy and Quiet Getaway

My wife and I spent a long weekend here. The location was secluded, cozy, and quiet. Groceries and food are only minutes away, and downtown Gatlinburg is a short and simple drive. Very convenient location if you're planning to hike; the hot tub was a welcome relief after our 18 mile trek. I would definitely recommend this location! My wife and I are already eager for another visit!

The cabin was perfect in everyway. The location is away from all the hustle and bustle of town but close enough to everything. The art and craft district it is near makes a full day of checking things out. The cabin was clean and had all the extra that you would think you need in the kitchen. Our host was very easy to get ahold of if we needed anything.

Quiet neighborhood in the woods

My friends and I enjoyed staying three nights in this comfortable and inviting cabin and would definitely stay here again. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals, and there were plenty of towels and extra blankets. We were puzzled when the property manager didn’t respond to our text about the fireplace not lighting., but otherwise communication about check in / out out and other details about the property was excellent.

Steps

Lots of steps but other than that the place is great! Plenty of room for two families. Everything you need to cook if you want to. Large bedrooms also. Hotub was great! Had a little problem finding the cabin the first night but called owner they got us there with no problem, they were great! About the steps?! We are in our seventies so they did give us a little problem but if you’re knees are good the cabin is a great place for you and your family!

Weekend Getaway

Beautiful home and the host provides extra special touches. Bathroom black face wash cloth, small packaged scented soap, hand soap, hair dryer, and lots of clean white towels. Home was spotless. Master BR was like a cave- nice and dark for an excellent night of sleep. Cute basket of “tot tub” towels. Did not cook while there but all kitchen drawers were neat- clean pot holders and a nice selection of cooking utensils. Provided everything one would need to do laundry. Provided lots of trash bags. Th location could not be better- easy access to shops and food (we grabbed pizza the first night). Hot tub was perfect and relaxing. Highly recommend and would stay at the Fox Den again.

Beautiful stay!

We had such a great time in Gatlinburg. There is SO much to do. The property was nestled in the woods, very secluded for the most part. There was construction on the house next door which made for some noise. The bear sightings were super neat! They were right outside the house in the woods almost every morning when we were drinking coffee. The beds were comfortable (huge thing for us). Everywhere we have stayed the beds were very uncomfortable. So that was a plus. Everything is pretty much provided for you in the cabin and the property owner was very easy to get a hold of when we needed her! My only complaint was the smell. The house was very musty. Nothing a candle didn't fix though :) Overall, I would certainly stay here again!

Pictures don’t do it justice!

We traveled here for my son’s 15th birthday, and we just fell in love with the house! It’s so beautiful and homey!! It was fully stocked with every single pan, dish, baking sheet, spatula, seasoning, anything you’d need! I didn’t bring any of that with me so it was nice to have it available. The board games were so fun, we loved balderdash (I think that’s the name) and played scrabble! The beds were sooo comfy we didn’t want to get up any of the days and two the day started 😂 also I liked how we could dim the rooms and make them dark so we could sleep in. You could tell the home is well take care of, it smelled so good inside and everything was clean and organized. I’d book again in a heartbeat.

We, the Bernards, purchased Fox's Den because our daughter now lives in Gatlinburg, and we wanted a place near her family that we could rent out as well. We are retired and live in southwest Virginia. Our daughter, Cyndi, will be handling most of the communication. She is happy to answer any questions you have, and would love to recommend her family's favorite restaurants, things to do and hiking trails!

Why they chose this property

Location! This home is in the middle of the Arts and Crafts Community, but convenient to Gatlinburg. The cabin is very comfortable and feels more like a home than a rental cabin.

What makes this property unique

Again, the location attracted us to Fox's Den. We love sitting on the covered deck enjoying the mountain air, or walking around the neighborhood and strolling down to the nearby craft shops and cafes.
