Really enjoyed our stay at the Old Mill. Beaytiful setting, very peaceful, and a great family-friendly property. Thanks for making us feel so welcome. We would love to return
The house is lovely, well equipped with everything you would need. The garden is beautiful and the pool great. Plenty of places to sit to enjoy the views of the river and castle. Francois and Anita were very welcoming and on hand if we needed anything during our stay. Would happily return.

We had a really nice week at this property. Its location is just what we were after in the countryside but with picturesque towns and villages around with things to do. The property was clean, well equipped and the garden and swimming pool area was amazing with the river at the end of the garden and walks along the river. The owners were nice, they do not speak any English, but it gave us a chance to practise our French, and Google translate can fill in any blanks. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we were going to that area. We didn't want to go home!

Thank you for your comment, we were delighted to welcome you.
We often spend our holidays in France, but this was definitely one of our best stays, largely thanks to this wonderful accommodation. Anita and Francois, the landlords, live just around the corner and are very friendly and helpful, but keep a discreet distance. The country house is perfectly located by a stream with a large green plot, very quiet and away from traffic. The house was incredibly clean (also the 10m pool) and well equipped We had a great time spending days by the pool, going on cultural excursions in the surrounding area (Grotte de Villars, numerous chateaus, Perigueux, Angouleme etc.) and going on road bike trips in the extremely green and traffic-free Parc naturel regional Perigord-Limousin. If you are looking for relaxation in a quiet, green environment and would like to go on the occasional cultural or sporting excursion, this is the place to be. We would have loved to stay longer and would like to thank Anita and Francois for this wonderful stay.Warm regards from Frankfurt am Main.
Beautiful house and great base from which to explore
Charming house. Well equipped kitchen including dishwasher and a washing machine. Everything we needed for a group of 4 adults and two children (age 5 and 8). Plenty of space. Pool very clean. Outside area very pretty and great quality outside furniture. Quiet and peaceful, on a pretty river with a view of a castle.
Lots to see and do in the surrounding area if feeling adventurous.
Hosts very friendly and helpful, all commination is in French, which wasn't a problem for us.
Beware the parasols, it's safer not use use them and rely on the beautiful trees for shade. A gust of wind can come from nowhere, even on a still day, and if a parasol breaks you will be charged for a replacement.
