The Space:

Unit G742 is a 2.5 bedroom fully equipped condo located on the 5th floor of Gearhart House.





Great ocean views from your private deck. Main bedroom has a Queen, the 2nd bedroom has 2 Twins, and the loft also has 2 Twins. Sofa sleeper in the living room. The maximum occupancy is 8. We do suggest that nobody under the age of 5 stay in the unit as there are open stairs to the loft and the loft only has a half wall. Flat screen TV, DVD player and Satellite. Enjoy a complimentary presto log each night of your stay.





Tennis courts, Pickle ball court, and Golf course nearby. Just a few minute stroll to the beach. If you're lucky you'll catch a glimpse of our famous Elk roaming through!

The WiFi never worked. Couldn’t get the TV to connect to anything. There were only 3 spoons, the lack of silverware was hard to deal with considering we had 6 mouths to feed. The beds were VERY uncomfortable. Basically slept on springs the whole time. Also, the check in time listed was 4pm, but our room wasn’t available until 5:30pm. We went grocery shopping when we got into town so our frozen/refrigerated food had to sit out. We had some very tired and hungry kids so that was inconvenient to stand around and wait for an hour and a half. Also, no hair dryer. Very old and out dated place. The bottom floors seem to have been redone so we will stay in one of those next time. On the plus side, the pool was very nice! And the location of the property was also nice.

The whole unit had a musty smell. Just couldn’t get rid of the smell. Front desk just said we are sorry, and reminded us not to smoke in the unit.

Older but awesome. Wish it was clean though

Loved the place! Great that there's no cleaning fee but having a vacuum, sponge and cleaning supplies in the unit so we could've cleaned ourself when we got there would've been great. The place hadn't been vacuumed and there was food all over under the table. Dishes in the cupboards were dirty and cupboard handles were really greasy. there wasn't a sponge or wouldve cleaned it easily. We did get one at the store and cleaned it up a bit. Overall for the price, location and loft area we would definitely stay again.

Needs some major upgrades

This place is way overpriced!! We had a great time because of being with family but the place itself was in great need of repair and upgrades. Could hardly open the sliding glass door because it is so rusted. And the beds were not comfortable. Wouldn’t stay again.

Great for family trip

We really enjoyed staying here with our young kids. It has a beautiful view of the ocean and the path to the beach was an easy walk. Our kids loved the pool which was surprisingly warm enough for me to enjoy too. It was roomy enough for our large family to feel comfortable. It's dated but for the price that was expected, and actually I think that added to the nostalgia of my childhood trips to the coast.

Overall, this was a fantastic set up with gorgeous views. The property is older and outdated, but that was obvious from the listing, so we weren't surprised. We would definitely stay here again.

The view out of the balcony is beautiful, with comfortable deck chairs to sit and watch the waves. The room was fully functional and comfortable for our family to stay. However, it could use some updating and TLC.

label the blue liquid soap as hand dishwashing soap, and powder as machine dishwashing soap, also label sponge if for kitchen or bathroom since the clorox and the bucket and the dish soap all together in one area, make me think that the sponge and bucket and clorox are for toilet cleaning. pls label all as kitchen.

Average beach house

It was a well used looking condo - that wasn't very clean (fake eyelash on the floor, used towel behind the door, dishes that were still dirty in the dish washer). But we enjoyed our stay because Jesus Christ and all the blessings we've been given.

Gearhart Spring Break

The property was great. Lots of room and comfortable. Was listed as having a hot tub and pool which were two of our sort options. When we got there, we were told the pool had been closed for a year. We can understand that with COVID but unsure why the listing still showed as available amenities?

Spacious unit with amazing ocean views

This place had beautiful ocean views. It was very open. The unit was clean. We enjoyed being on the beach and seeing the elk herds grazing. It was nice to be a little away from all the crowds. Nice and quiet. It was very clean. The only thing that might make it better would be some updates in furnishings and decor. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Cleanliness is next to Godliness

When we arrived, the space seemed to be clean, but looking further I found the following. Cabinets dirty, fingerprints on the glasses. I cleaned out every cabinet and washed all the dishes and cabinet items with bleach. The banister leading upstairs was the worst. The floors had to be cleaned also. We had a lot of fun once we cleaned. It was very spacious for everyone. Enough supplies for us to prepare 2 meals. The perfect walk to the beach. We will be back in the future
