The ancient town of Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella also known as "Borgo dell'Amarone", a tribute to the famous local wine, is a few minutes drive from the San Giorgio Ingannapoltron, but can also be reached on foot. "Sentiero della salute" which leaves from the village, behind the church.

Beautiful area and nice accommodations. Particularly interesting if you like classical music.

Enjoyed the hikes through vineyards and exploring The Valpollicello region of Italy. The owner builds classical keyboards and the couple was very welcoming.

Good villa is very lovely part of Valpolicella region

The place was good, it had all the amenities , pool was clean. The hosts Ileana and Romain were very helpful , kind and generous - really attentive to our needs. It had air con was was very useful. Suggest to go when it is not blisteringly hot. Close to vineyards - you’ll enjoy it!

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit Herz

Nach einem herzlichen Empfang haben wir eine sehr gepflegte Ferienwohnung, geschmückt mit liebevollen Details, vorgefunden. Im Kühlschrank waren regionaler Apfelsaft, Milch, Wasser kalt gestellt, ein Kaffeesortiment und regionalen Honig konnten wir ebenfalls verkosten. Ein besonderes Erlebnis war ein sehr schmackhaftes italienisches Frühstück, welches uns die Gastgeberin bereitete. Garten und Pool konnten wir jederzeit nutzen und haben uns stets willkommen gefühlt, sowohl von den sehr zuvorkommenden Gastgebern, als auch den beiden Hauskatzen. Den persönlichen Kontakt empfanden wir unaufdringlich und sehr schön. Der Ort ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen durch die malerische Landschaft der Weinberge oder für Radtouren mit sportlichem Charakter, denn einige Höhenmeter sind zu bewältigen.

Valpolicella 2022

Vor der Ankunft in Sant´Ambrogio benötigten wir Unterstützung wegen eines gebrochenen Armes einer Mitreisenden, die nicht in der Unterkunft angemeldet war. Familie Legros erlaubte uns ohne jede Diskussion die Aufnahme dieser verletzten Person in der Ferienwohnung. 3 km von der Ferienwohnung entfernt blieb unser Auto stehen und verweigerte die Weiterfahrt. Wir wurden von Ileana abgeholt und zur Wohung gebracht. Romain holte anschließend unser Gepäck. Der Start war also sehr holprig. Ohne die überaus freundliche Hilfe wäre der Urlaub wohl ausgefallen. Deshalb hier noch einmal unseren ganz herzlichen Dank. Danach konnten wir die Ferienwohnung, den Garten, den Swimming-Pool und die Umgebung entspannt genießen. Rüdiger Boppert und Familie

nicht unbedingt mit teenagern

uns hat der aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen, die kommunikation mit den vermietern ist etwas schwierig, wenn man kein italienisch oder frankzösisch spricht - mit englisch geht es dann aber doch irgendwie ;-) Romain, Ileana und ihre schwester sind allerdings SEHR NETT as ausgangspunkt ist die location super (gardasee/verona/venedig) alles sehr gut ereichbar, wenn man viel im auto sitzen möchte. mal eben ist man nicht am see, dafpr gibt es den großen pool, den man alleine nutzen kann. für TEENAGER ist alledings gar nichts geboten, sodass man sich auf konfliktpotential einstellen sollte ;-) Resume: für erwachsene jederzeit zu empfehlen

Eine wunderschöne Villa mit einen privat Pool und Pavillon mitten im Weinbaugebiet. Die Räumlichkeit ist für eine Familie mit Kindern ideal. Gastlichkeit erstklassig. Lage und Landschaft kaum überbietbar. Lazise 15 km Verona ca. 20 km Venedig ca.130 Mailand ca. 170 km sowie viele andere schöne Orte von Gardeasee in wenige Minuten mit Auto erreichbar. Gerne wieder

L'hospitalité à l'italienne

La maison est située dans un vieux hameau au milieu des vignobles de la Valpollicella. L'endroit vous invite à faire des randonnées et à visiter des villes historiques du nord de l'Italie. Le plus grand atout est l'hôtesse, qui nous a surpris tous les matins avec un excellent petit déjeuner et de bons conseils pour la journée.

Sehr, sehr nette Gastgeber, tolles Fühstück

Großzügige Zimmer, liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber wohnen im selben Haus (separater Eingang) aber wir haben das als sehr angenehm empfunden und fühlten uns in jedem Moment ungestört. Zu empfehlen ist ein Ausflug (5 Autominuten) nach St. Giorgio: tolle Aussicht, nettes Dorf und drei gute Restaurants. In Fussnähe ist ein einfaches aber gutes Restaurant "Primavera", das mehrheitlich von Einheimischen besucht war. Der Pool war besonders für die Kinder eine willkommene Abwechslung.
