Very beautiful Provencal farmhouse
Nestled in the middle of orchards near the feudal village of Boulbon, the farmhouse offers a breathtaking view of one of the most beautiful villages in France. Located 10 km from Avignon TGV station and close to Arles, Saint Rémy de Provence and Pont du Gard.
On a plot of 500m2 (cypress, oleanders, and pines), you will enjoy absolute calm conducive to rest and reverie.
The Mas will welcome you on 2 levels:
Ground floor: entrance with extra bed, living room, fitted kitchen (oven, dishwasher, microwave)
Upstairs: 1 bedroom (2 single beds) with view over the village and the Montagnette, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed in the shade of the plane tree, bathroom, separate WC,

We loved staying in this home-from-home with it's stylish furniture and castle-like features. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a short 15-20 mins walk to Boulbon with it's boulongerie and small shop, and the property is located between so many great places, like Arles, the Camargue, Avignon, etc, etc. François was the perfect host, sending helpful ideas for things to do, and communication for arrival and departure was very smooth.

Large Farmhouse with Plenty of Provençal Character

The mas was bigger than expected and we enjoyed our stay here. Beds were comfortable and the host was very attentive and helpful. The village of Boulbon is beautiful and we would recommend a hike to the windmill. The maze of medieval alleyways below the castle are worth exploring. There is a well stocked grocery store and a boulangerie adjacent to the mairie.

The house is lovely ,rustic with mod cons that are essential these days , we felt it would benefit from air conditioning in the bedrooms though,hence the four stars . Nature lovers will appreciate all the cicadas,butterflies , tiny lizards and Camrgue horses which are beautiful as is the food !

We enjoyed our stay at Boulbon. This is an attractive, old farmhouse built in 1875 with later adaptations and extensions. We particularly enjoyed its peaceful, secluded location in the middle of fields, shaded/cooled by surrounding trees - especially as it's also only a 15-20 minute walk into the centre of Boulbon which has a useful general shop, boucherie, boulangerie and several restaurants (we ate twice at the excellent Cafe du Commerce). Boulbon itself is a very attractive village, with a picturesesque castle, and the house is very well located for the exploring the wider region.The property is well equiped and spacious and has the character of a lived-in home, rather than a holiday-let. It is an older property which hasn't been fully modernised in terms of decor or fittings. Francois was exceptionally attentive as a host and provided lots of useful information about the surrounding area.

Sehr schönes Haus mit einem romantischen Garten. Ruhig gelegen und nicht weit vom nächsten Ort entfernt. Luft nach oben wäre noch etwas bei der Sauberkeit und Pflege. Alles in allem hatten wir aber einen sehr schönen Urlaub.

Authentisches Ferienhaus in der Provence

Sehr schöne Urlaubswochen in Boulbon. Das Haus liegt einzeln inmitten von Obstplantagen in einem großen Garten, der von altem Baumbestand umgeben ist. Im Garten und auf dem Hof ist es meistens schattig und nicht zu heiß. Ausflüge in die Provence sind wunderbar möglich. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, v.a. die Küche ist sehr gut bestückt. Kleine Abstriche beim Komfort wie beschrieben: Leitungswasser ist kein Trinkwasser, Ventilatoren als Klimaanlage, eines von drei Schlafzimmern im Eingangsbereich. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und steht für alle Fragen und Anliegen telefonisch zur Verfügung.

Wunderschön!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit im Haus von François auf einem traumhaften Grundstück, etwas abseits von Boulbon, inmitten von Apfel-und Birnenplantagen. Es ist ein schönes, altes Steinhaus mit dicken Wänden, die im Inneren die kühle Atmosphäre hielten und in dem alles vorhanden war, was wir brauchten. Wir haben viel Zeit unter der magischen Platane und im Schatten der alten Bäumen verbracht. Vielen Dank, François, auch für den wunderbaren Pool zum Abkühlen in der provenzalischen Hitze. Wir kommen wieder - dann gern auch mal im Winter oder Frühjahr.

Un petit coin de paradis

Outre l'agrément d'une belle maison avec ses meubles provençaux , nous avons beaucoup aimé le jardin qui rassemble harmonieusement toutes les essences d'arbres du Midi. Quel plaisir de déjeuner sous la voûte de l'immense platane ! Huile d'olive et olives maison ont agréablement accompagné l'accueil sympathique des hôtes, soucieux de nous informer sur les richesses touristiques du lieu.Seuls deux légers bémols à notre satisfaction: la cafetière, trop petite et très, très lente. Et l'absence surprenante de téléviseur.

Very nice house with authentic atmosphere

We spent 3 pleasant weeks in the house, which is situated in the middle of fields near Boulbon. You can make nice trips from there. We especially liked the Gardon gorge, where you can swim very beautifully behind Collias. Thanks a lot to the kind landlords, who welcomed us very friendly and gave us very valuable tips.

Traumwoche in Boulbon

Dieses wunderschöne Landhaus liegt sehr ruhig gelegen 10 Gehminuten ausserhlb von Boulbon. Wir verbrachten zu zweit eine Woche in diesem geräumigen Haus. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel und die Stille in der Nacht einfach magisch. Morgens wurden wir von einem Vogelkonzert geweckt. Im Garten hat es sehr viele Sitzgelegenheiten in der Sonne wie auch unter wunderschönen schattenspedenden Bäumen. Die Küche bietet alles an Einrichtung, um sich selbst zu verköstigen. Die Vermieter versorgten uns mit vielen interessanten Ausflugstips sowie Möglichkeiten lokal bei Gemüsebauern einzukaufen. Durch die zentrale Lage von Boulbon war die Erreichbarkeit von Arles ,Nimes oder auch Saint Rémy de Provence sehr gut. Es ist schön ein Ort zu kennen, wo man sich bei Bedarf zurückziehen und erholen kann. In diesem Sinne: "Au revoir" :-)

au reveil un écureuil dans le platane, au crépuscule passe un renard

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce mas ancien. La cour et une partie du jardin sont très ombragés - agréable pendant une semaine de chaleur. Et par temps de mistral un agréable coin dans la partie du jardin au soleil ou dans l'oliveraie... Le matin il peut arriver qu'un écureuil grimpe et saute dans le platane. Ou le soir qu'un renard se glisse à travers une haie au bord de la proprieté. Ce calme se trouve à quelques minutes de l'historique village de Boulbon avec ses ruelles, son château et ses petits commerces. Dans la maison un salon comfortable et très spacieux, une cuisine bien équippée et deux chambres charmantes.

Eine grüne Oase!

Das alte Bauernhaus versteckt sich in einem parkähnlichen Garten mit herrlichen alten Baumbestand. Von Boulbon aus kann man wunderbar die Umgebung entdecken: Arles, Nimes, Avignon, den Pont du Gard. Nach den vielen neuen Eindrücken war es stets ein herrliches Gefühl in das verwunschene Grün des Gartens zurückzukehren und das Erlebte Revue passieren zu lassen. Umgeben von riesigen Zypressen und hohen Oleanderbüschen, alles überschattet von einer alten Platane wirkte das Anwesen fast ein bisschen wie aus der Zeit gefallen.

ein charmantes altes Bauernhaus in der Provence. Liegt sehr ruhig in Obstplantagen ohne direkte Nachbar, was sehr angenehm und erholsam war. Sauber und gut ausgestattet. Leider Toilette nur im Treppenhaus und kein Kleiderschrank im Zimmer vorhanden. Liegt sehr günstig, um Ausflüge zu unternehmen . Würden zu jeder Zeit wieder hinfahren.

Beautiful and confortable home in the country

Three of us stayed here for one week, ending today. The house is located out in the countryside away from any noise (exception was an owl one or two nights). The home has plenty of room, a well furnished kitchen with plenty of pots and pans if you wish to cook (but a tiny coffeemaker), large family room, and very adequate sized bedrooms. There is fantastic shower and small sink upstairs and separate toilet downstairs. The house has a washing machine and outside clothesline. The house is in a beautiful setting, with many large trees and shrubs. We had one incident of an overnight storm that knocked out electricity to the house, but the owner, once notified, had a man there within 15 minutes to fix it, and that fellow was superb! He entertained us with stories, some of which, not speaking French, we understood, (and some singing) after the issue was corrected. Our host could not have been any nicer or more considerate to us. The location is central to many tourist sites: within 15 minutes to Avignon, 25 minutes to Arles, 40 minutes to Nimes, maybe 25 to Pont-du-Gard. So, if you want a good base from which to drive to those places, this is good. If you want to just sit and vegetate in the quiet of the countryside, this is perfect. One suggestion to the owner: perhaps leave instructions on the use of the washer. We got it to work but instructions would have made it easier. The washing machines in France are different than the ones in the U.S. We enjoyed our stay in Boulbon and can recommend this house without hesitation.
