About this property

Cottage on the canal

3 bed 2 bath and 1 car garage on the canal. Close to Ana Maria Island beaches, IMG Academy and shopping. Newly renovated inside and out. Large master bedroom has a king size bed along with a full bedroom set and a desk. The two spare rooms have a queen size bed also with full bedroom sets. All bedrooms have tv’s in them.
Outside has a screened in heated swimming pool and covered Lani. The dock is 30 feet in length and also has a floating dock. Also on premise are two adult and one child kayak. Will to rent monthly, week or short time lease. Please email jrwmer@

I can’t speak highly enough about this place. My gf and her friends wanted a nice place for her birthday, and this exceeded all expectations. The pool was amazing, the house was so nice. I cant wait to stay here again!

We traveled by boat from St. Pete to the "cottage on the canal" - easy ride. Very easy check-in. House was clean and well decorated. The house is close to restaurants, beach and shops. We plan on doing the trip again - it was the perfect little weekend get-away.

This home is absolutely beautiful. Listing photos do not do justice to how spacious this home is. The pool felt amazing especially after a long day out on the boat. The outdoor space is perfect, and my kids loved fishing the canal day and night! Check in process was super easy and the neighborhood is quiet. Located close to everything. Will definitely be staying here again.

Excellent stay. Spacious home was very clean, nicely furnished, and well stocked for our 3 week visit. Heated pool, which we used almost daily, was a highlight. Host was very responsive to minor concerns we brought to her attention.

Check in was a breeze, the property was exactly as listed. Clean and comfy. We reported a screen from the pool surround came off in the storm and Maureen responded immediately. The convenient location to many places in Cortez, and one of the main ways to get to the island make it a great locale. The kids loved the pool, and we loved the quiet neighborhood.

The cottage on the canal was fantastic! It is in a wonderful location, has a beautiful and quiet pool area overlooking the canal, and very comfortable accommodations inside. We would stay there again!
