About Maureen Gannon
Our family loves to spend time in the Adirondacks which is why we purchased the property in January of 2017. We have enjoyed renovating the home and spending time skiing whiteface, hiking the Adirondack high peaks, fishing the Ausable and kayaking on many of the wonderful lakes and rivers in the area. I am a high School Science Teacher who enjoys gardening and all the enjoyment that being outside can provide!

Why Maureen Gannon chose Wilmington
I have been looking for property near Whiteface Mountain sporadically for years. In the fall of 2016 I decided to take the leap and when this property came on the market I knew it was the right one. It was only 600 sq. ft when we purchased it with 2 enclosed porches which have now been finished into a beautiful 650sq. ft Great Room with cathedral ceilings. We love the quiet of the surroundings and how relaxed we feel when at the cabin.
What makes this House unique
Our cabin is about 10 minutes from Lake Placid, 1.5 miles from the center of Wilmington, 2 miles from Whiteface Mountain and 3 miles from the start of the Whiteface Memorial Highway which brings you up to the top of Whiteface for unparalleled views of the Adirondacks, Green Mountains and on a particularly clear day, Mt. Washington in New Hampshire. The Adirondack Wildlife Refuge is located right down the road.
