About this property

Rustic Ridge Retreat is a newly built property and sleeps 8 with all the conveniences of home. 3 bedroom 2 bath property with open living/kitchen area and a finished basement. Smart TV's are available in the living room, master bedroom and basement rec area and are connected to Dish network satellite. The loft tv is also available for gaming and viewing DVD's. There is a Bluetooth speaker system in the living room. Fully equipped kitchen stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glassware and silverware and small appliances. Outside there is a pavilion with a gas grill and a fire pit for outdoor entertaining. A large covered front porch to enjoy a cool place on hot days or the beautiful sunsets. The home is located only 2 miles from Huntingdon where you will find grocery shopping, restaurants and many other things to see and do. It is also less than 10 minutes from Snyders Run boat launch and Ridenour Overlook.
There is free wifi throughout the house. We also provide towels and linens for our guests at no extra cost. We offer a 10% discount on reservations of 7 days or more, if you enter a 7 day stay it will be calculated with discount. Our property has an outdoor security camera that covers the driveway area, it is not directed towards any interior space.

Holiday getaway

This place is a perfect little getaway opportunity. House is in the middle of the woods but only 5 minutes from anything you need. Chris was great getting us into the house and answered any questions i had immediately. We may consider this a New Thanksgiving Tradition.

What makes this property unique

Our rustic cabin sets on top of a ridge in the woods. You have the feeling of being away from it all, but are still only minutes to restaurants, shopping, movie theater, Sheetz, convenient care center and hospital, beer and liquor store. Closest boat launch on Raystown Lake is only a few miles away as well as a public launch on the Raystown branch of the Juniata river (a great place for kayaks and fishing). Cabin is only about 45 mins to both Altoona and State College (Penn State University) and about 10 minutes to Juniata College in Huntingdon.
