DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
El Matador Resort, unit 315 is the perfect vacation spot for the beach and pool. This unit, located in building 3, is close to the ocean and pool, with views of the beach and pool area. The living and dining area, which adjoin the private balcony, have an open floor space, offering room for your family to relax. The living room has a flat screen tv with a BluRay player. The master bedroom also has a flat screen tv. The bedrooms, with updated tvs and new bedding, offer the most comfort available in the El Matador Resort. The bathroom has a shower and upscale appointments. (shower, no tub).

There are communal Washers and Dryers near the elevator lobby on each floor.

RESORT & AREA:
El Matador Resort is a gated resort, with a 24 hour security check point. Spacious lawns and walking paths provide a peaceful getaway within the resort. 2 large pools offer fun for everyone. A large exercise gym and his/her spas are also free to everyone staying in the resort. There are basketball and tennis courts available to everyone, and a large reception hall may be reserved in advance for parties or meetings.

Okaloosa Island is part of a 30 mile stretch of continuous natural sand barrier. The ocean here is typically as clear as any water can be, with an emerald green color unique to this small area. The sands are pure white and powdery, like sugar, and the beaches are kept immaculately clean and safe by wonderful Okaloosa County authorities. There is plenty of fun right here on the island, from putt putt golf, to outdoor grills to fine dining and night life. We have a fishing pier just a mile away, which is also the home of the original Gulfarium Dolphin Exhibit. Take the kids to the Gulfarium to see dolphins perform, as well as their friends the walrus, sea lions, and penguins. They'll love it.

The location of 315 is perfect right in the midst of it all. Walk right out to pool. Stones throw away from beach access. We loved our stay. The whole family enjoyed our stay at 315.

Everything was so convenient

The parking was easy. The beach was right outside the back door. Bed was comfortable. The pool was also literally right outside the back door. I would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at El Matador one other time in the same building but a different unit and it was absolutely wonderful. This stay was not that. Upon checking in the unit was dirty. There was sand on the floors, sand in the bed, the ceiling in the bathroom looked like it may fall in (we found some ceiling paint/pieces in the toilet throughout our stay), we saw several roaches on the floor throughout our stay and gnats were coming up the garbage disposal. We didn't use the garbage disposal while we were there. If you walked barefoot at all in the unit your feet would be black. We aren't ones to complain, we don't expect the nicest things. We come here for the beautiful beach. But this unit was gross. We didn't mind that it's outdated, but it needs a serious deep clean, some repairs, and sprayed for bugs. Being on the ground level was the only good part about this unit. We'll be coming back to El matador but definitely staying in a different unit.

Always in joy staying in this unit. So easy getting to beach and pool. The one and only thing is the umbrella situation. You have to mark yours every morning they will not put your name or unit number on it. Everything else is great nice people everywhere to.

Thought I wrote this on our 2023 trip didn't see my discount. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. The bottom floor is so handy and the great grass is good for your feet and children. Only problem I have is the umbrella man. Have my trip booked for 2024 already maybe they have a new umbrella man. Hope to get my discount to.

Love this unit. Great proximity to the beach and pool. Like I mentioned in the name, this is our second time staying in this unit. The sheets and the extra blankets need to be cleaned. I would recommend this unit. My son is stationed there and we will be renting this unit again.

Beautiful time of year to be here.

This convo was located just a minute walk to the sand and less of a walk to the pool. The condo was clean and have everything we needed for the week. The complex is located at the end of the road it is very peaceful and restful. It does take about 10 or more minutes to drive to a restaurant or shopping area. But the view and quiet outweigh the drive 😁. The facility was very neat and clean. I recommend September as a fabulous time to visit the Emerald Coast.

Family Perfect!

In so many ways this space could be rated excellent. So very convenient for a family vacation. Located on the ground level, it's only a few steps to the pool and not many more steps to get to the beach. Beach chair service was included in the rental rate and that is a huge plus! The condo is comfortable, very clean and easy to keep organized. I appreciated that all floors were tiled and thus easy to sweep day to day traffic debris, particularly sand. The kitchen needs updating and could which is why I rated it good rather than excellent.

Not worth the money

The condo was obviously not cleaned prior to our arrival. There was dirt on the floor, particles all over the kitchen counter, coffee machine was disgusting, sand in the bed and under the sheets, sand on the recliner. Ceilings looked like they were about to cave in and the curtains in the bedroom are basically nonexistent. The check out is ridiculous. They want you to take the trash out and take the sheets off the bed and basicallyact like you are the house keeper, plus, they deactivate the door code at 9am even thought check out is at 10am. We also encountered several roaches in the condoThe only good thing about this place is the location.

Perfect location for small family!

Being on the first floor and steps away from the pool and beach, 315 was THE PERFECT location for a family with young kids! Easy to and from access without the hassle of elevators. Beautiful walk-in shower, super spacious living room and all the tvs had access to streaming apps for our 3yo! I’d recommend this condo to anyone looking for a hassle free vacation. Location! Location! Location!
