'Le Galet de Cassis' is located on the 2nd floor of a very quiet 3-storey residence close to the beach and the port next to the Casino de Jeux. Close to all directions bus stop (sncf station, city of Marseille ...)
Very comfortable for 4 people, it benefits from 3 exhibitions including a clear view on the hills and the creeks, without real opposite. It has a view over the Château de Cassis and Cap Canaille.
This apartment has 4 rooms and a large loggia equipped with a garden furniture with barbecue. It faces south, so it is very bright and airy.
You will have:
A modern and modern fitted kitchen equipped with: an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a large fridge / freezer and a washing machine.
A living room with 2 leather sofas and a dining area. Private, secure, high-performance WIFI as well as international TV programs., A HIFI channel.
2 bedrooms with double beds (1 bed 140 and 1 160) each with plenty of storage.
A bathroom with bath, 2 WCs, 1 of which is in a bedroom.
The private car park is closed (however the space is not reserved).
Once arrived you can stroll freely on foot, and go to all your leisure activities. The car is not essential for your stay in Cassis: bus shuttle possibility

A specious apartment with lots of light

The apartment is spacious, clean and very bright with a large balcony as shown on the photos. It is very close to the city center, restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacy. Mary and Andre are very welcoming and wonderful hosts. We had a request which they provided promptly. During summer you need fans as there is no AC. The fans available in the apt are adequate to keep it cool at night.We enjoyed our stay.Thank you Mary and Andre

Wonderful apt. in a perfect location!

We wanted a calm & peaceful refuge close to Cassis port & downtown and this apt. was perfect for us. It is very near to both the bus-stop from Marseilles and the shuttle to/from the train station, and just a 10 min. easy walk to the downtown port with beach and boats and restaurants, but when you are in the airy and spacious apt. with its lovely balcony view it is quiet and peaceful. Our hosts were wonderful and super-helpful with logistics for arrival and departure. We would love to go back!

Fabulous apartment, location and hosts

My wife and I stayed here end of August, early September. Mary and Andre were very friendly and greeted us on arrival and arranged a parking place for our car in a secure gated area. The apartment was very clean, sympathetic, the bed was very comfortable. It was well equipped with everything we needed and had a lovely balcony. We did not need to use our car for the entire stay as everything is within a short walk. Cassis itself and the Calanques are beautiful and the sea so warm. Thank you Mary and Andre for speaking good English as our French was minimal. We would definitely return and recommend their apartment.

Oct 2024 stay in Mary's apartment in Cassis

We really enjoyed our stay in Mary's apartment in Cassis. The property is both quiet and private, and at the same time very central and within a short stroll from the beach and the beautiful port of Cassis. We really appreciated the quiet space to come back to, as Cassis itself was surprisingly busy for this time of year (last week of October). The communication with Mary was excellent and really friendly and helpful throughout. The only small niggle was the internet connection which was a bit shaky at times (still more than OK for leisure use - happily neither of us needed it for work on this trip :-)) . Thank you for all the hospitality, Mary. We are both already missing sitting on your beautiful balcony!

Breezy Balcony in Cassis

This apartment was a dream come true. Mary and her nice husband welcomed us right away and showed us all of the features of the property. Our favorite area was the balcony. The extended awnings provided shade all day and we just sat there with books, alternating between reading, napping, and eating wonderful local foods. By opening the slider doors and the bedroom windows, you get a magnificent cross breeze so even though it was 90+ degrees outside, the apartment felt very cool and comfortable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Also, its about 5 minutes flat walk to town and right near the bus to the train and good grocery shops so the convenience is unparalleled.

Cassis Gem

Lovely spacious apartment in an excellent location in Cassis. Very close to all three beaches and walking tracks to the Calanques. Mary and her husband were wonderful hosts and although we didn't need them in the week we stayed we felt we could have asked them for anything. Excellent communication before our stay which meant a smooth check in. The markets on Wednesday and Friday were amazing, fresh produce, clothes, jewellery etc. Good snorkelling at Plage del arene along the southern edge, 20 min walk from the apartment. Kids were a bit shocked by the naturism further along this stretch :) Good take away pizza from Tak'away and burgers from La Régalade. An amazing meal at Corton Brasserie (At Villa Madie), without our teenagers.

Super Wohnung in super Lage

Tolle Lage! Zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zum Strand, zu den Geschäften, Restaurants und zum Bus, wenn man nach Marseille will. Tolle Gastgeber, haben sich um den Parkplatz gekümmert und in der Wohnung alles super vorbereitet. Große Wohnung und ein Balkon, wo man mit der Familie essen und entspannen kann. In der Wohnung ist alles, was man braucht - sogar Sonnenschirme für den Strand. Ein- und Auschecken sehr unkompliziert und flexibel. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Schöne Wohnung mit zentraler Lage

Die Wohnung hat eine sehr gute Lage in Cassis. Die Vermieter sind sehr zuvorkommend und immer ansprechbar. Die Kommunikation verlief unkompliziert und sehr gut. Bei der Ankunft steht ein Parkplatz am Haus zur Verfügung. Wir haben in der Woche unseres Aufenthaltes nur einmal das Auto bewegt und hatten Glück, dass wir wieder einen Parkplatz bekommen haben. Ansonsten hatten wir aber eine Parkkarte, so dass man überall hätte parken können. Von der Wohnung aus konnte man alles sehr gut zu Fuß erreichen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, auch wenn dass Eine oder Andere der Einrichtung mal erneuert werden könnte.😊

Coccon parfait pour les vacances

Nous sommes encore sous le charme de l'appartement de Cassis. L'appartement est très bien situé, à 6 minutes du port et des restaurants, au coin de la rue, on peut faire des achats, mais c'est très calme et le soir, nous pouvions admirer le ciel en buvant un verre de vin sur la grande terrasse. Nous avons toujours trouvé une place de parking dans la résidence, mais nous avons aussi apprécié le fait que les bus pour Marseille, Aubagne et la gare partent à 2 minutes de distance. L'appartement correspond exactement aux photos de l'annonce et est très propre et fonctionnel. Rien ne manquait pour un séjour agréable et malgré le temps chaud, il n'a jamais fait chaud dans l'appartement (même sans climatisation). Mary et André étaient adorables et très serviables, ils ont toujours répondu immédiatement à nos demandes et nous ont aidés avec de bons conseils et de la documentation. Nous retournerions à tout moment chez Mary et André à Cassis.

Des Vacances parfaites

Nous rêvions de ballades dans les calanques, de soleil et d'un café sur le port tous les matins. Cet appartement nous a permis d'accéder à tous ces rêves. L'appart en plus est parfaitement adapté à notre petite famille avec deux enfants de 5 ans et 2 ans qui ont besoin d'espace pour jouer. Quant au climat de Cassis, nous avons pu déjeuner sur la terrasse plusieurs fois ! Très bon choix ! Merci aux propriétaires Mary et André qui ont été totalement à notre écoute.
