San Diego is open for business (& vacations)!

Our cleaners are spending extra time (and we are paying them) to disinfect any and all surfaces, especially high-touch areas.

This wonderful vacation getaway is powered by its own solar electric system. This bright and airy studio completely furnished (linens, towels, etc.) wood floors. Equipped with a kitchenette, microwave, fridge, bath, plus filter water, washer/dryer. with all supplies for you to use. Heat and air-conditioning.

The Space:
This is a guest suite that is part of a larger home. The suite is self-contained with a separate entrance and totally private. Coffee-maker & grinder with fresh coffee and milk frothing machine. Fridge is stocked with plenty of Cokes, and beer.. Plus, we have recently built a 3rd story deck on which you can relax and enjoy a quiet, beautiful San Diego sunset, or perhaps one of the many summer fireworks shows put on by Sea World...There are 2 boogie boards & beach towels, umbrella, and a cooler to keep your drinks cold.

With views of Mission Bay & south to Sea World & Point Loma. This is perfect for you to enjoy all the activities that make San Diego America's Finest City. Minutes to our beaches, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Little Italy, Balboa Park, The Old Globe Theater, Petco Park, Coronado, La Jolla, fine dining and shopping. Easy access to the Del Mar Racetrack, Lego Land and San Diego Zoo Safari Park. If you are looking for the perfect location to be right in the mix of things without the hustle-bustle & noise - this is the ideal location.

Guest Access:
You have access to your private studio and the shared grounds of the home, including a roof-top deck. There are 2 studios and the host's home that are all part of this property.

The Neighborhood:
Mission Bay is about the most central location in all of San Diego. Easy access to nearly every beach in San Diego; 5 minutes to Sea World; 10 minutes to the Zoo, Gaslamp, Balboa Park; and 15 minutes to the Airport.

Getting Around:
In November 2021, the city of San Diego will begin trolley service that will take you to many places in San Diego: the International border, downtown, Little Italy, UCSD, University Town Center (shopping and dining), and more! The station is a 3 minute walk from this home.

I love, love, love helping my guests. Whether is it teaching them how to drive to take their driver's license exam or taking guests to Tijuana for some of the best restaurants on the planet (bring your passport!).

Lovely place to stay.

This was a wonderful place to stay. We will definitely stay again!!! Lots of great amenities.... only 10-15 min drive to downtown. Just wish the weather was a little better we could have taken more advantage of the Rooftop patio. The owner and property mgmt were kind and helpful. Room was clean and pleasant.

Awesome place, awesome people!

I went to Mission Bay looking to get away for a couple days. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised on how spacious yet cozy this place seemed. Murphy bed was a great way to get maximum usable space. I must admit, I would first fall asleep in one of the zero gravity reclining chairs, and then end up having to get into the Murphy bed. :-) Rooftop lounge area was a great place to center myself at night. Owners were incredibly hospitable, communicative, friendly, and attentive. Thank you very much for allowing me to stay in your home. I will definitely be staying with them again, and would highly recommend.

Solo Work Retreat

My trip to San Diego was solely for a personal solo work retreat (with no vehicle). When my Uber driver dropped me off he asked, 'you sure you want to stay here? There's nothing around you.' I thought wonderful, because I want nothing and no distractions. However, I found within walking distance three delicious coffee shops, a fabulous block of restaurants and a grocery store. As well, it was perfect walking distance to Mission Bay Park. I loved my room/space and I absolutely loved the rooftop deck! I felt safe and comfortable being alone. Quick drive from the airport too!
