This home is so well appointed on the inside. It has lovely decorations and comfortable furnishing. The kitchen is well supplied with cooking utensils and dishes. The towels are nice and thick and plentiful. We didn't discover the backyard for a day or two and it's a real treat. We walked over to the bakery near 6th and Western. They have coffee for a dollar, delicious baked goods, and some of the best tamales I've ever eaten. I took home three dozen.
A great location to stay at during my travels to New Mexico with family. Accommodations were pet friendly that accommodated my larger dog. The fenced in patio are was a nice plus for my dog. The motorcycles traveling down the street were loud, but they quickly became white noise. Neighborhood not as walkable as I wished for Sam Houston Park was nice to walk the dog. The Christmas decorations were an unexpected bonus. Brandon was very communicative.
We loved staying here! Beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean!!! The back yard was so peaceful, we enjoyed having our coffee this morning. The location was perfect!! When we are in Amarillo, i know where we will stay. And i have never seem such a long bath tub!!
Amazing place, amazing location, amazing accommodations! We were traveling across country and stopped here for the night. Our only regret is that we did not have enough time in this area. We will certainly be back!
Just needed an overnight stay while traveling. This was the perfect place. The home has lots of space, great furnishings, very clean. The washer/dryer was a huge plus. If we’re headed through Amarillo again, this will be our “go to” place.
We stopped in while driving cross country. If I ever visit Amarillo I will most definitely stay here again. Very cute comfortable house with easy access.
I loved the house, it was perfect for what we needed. Thank you so much for your understanding upon us leaving a bit late. Great place to stay, easy directions and close to what we wanted.
The place was immaculate! Adorable decor! Smelled nice! Owner communication was amazing! Loved reading about the history behind some of the items in the house as well.
We were impressed with how clean the property was and the attention to detail. The kitchen had all the necessities to prepare a meal. The bed was very comfortable. It was very hot in Amarillo during our stay but the A/C worked great. We would definitely stay there again.
Me and my family stayed here for a week getaway. Very clean. Lots of space for the kids to play (1&5yr old) even had the Back Yard with lights hanging everywhere. Thats was nice.Had pots and pans for breakfast.
Very nice house. Modern and warm interior to match the atmosphere of 6th street. So much bigger than expected. Nice safe enclosed yard for the dogs was also perfect.
We were very comfortable for the duration of our week in the house. The hosts thought of everything when it comes to comfort. I highly recommend staying here. The area is older and Rt66 is actively working on revitalizing the area. I never felt anything but safe and secure while at the Hubbel House.
My wife and I were returning to the Dallas area from a long drive to western Colorado and this home was a great place to rest and recharge. It was walking distance from some good restaurants, art and antique shops, and live music. Plus, being a fan of classic cars, the home's location on Route 66 didn't hurt either. Will definitely consider this property again on future trips.
Great place, we stayed over night as a stop over, driving from Wyoming back to Texas. House was very clean and we had no needs. Brandon, was very good at keeping in contact.

Nice duplex right on Route 66. House was cute and clean. If you want complete silence, this is not the house for you but the noise is not crazy and we slept great.
Pleasant place, just as described. Clean and updated nicely.
Owner responded quickly to inquiries. That was appreciated.
Only stayed one night as we were just passing through on a road trip to Sedona, and California. Very easy to find from Interstate.
This is a very nice, older duplex with everything you need. Very large bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint was that the motorcycle traffic up and down Historic Route 66 was quite oud and surprisingly busy until after 10 or so PM when things settled down.
Meme’s D.O.C. was a great place for breakfast and the GoldenLight Cafe & Cantina was a great place for burgers. Both are very close.
…but we totally enjoyed the place. Beds were comfy and a nice little enclosed patio to let the dog out. The area had a lot of dining choices and we were pleased to visit some of the local ‘haunts’ on RT 66. Although the house sits on the highway, it is not noisy and the traffic is slowed due to low speed limits heading into the old town area. Bedrooms are in the back so even what little traffic there is at night was not bothersome. We didn’t even notice it. We will stay again!
