Very nice get away

We had a beautiful stay at Calle Rica. Mark is an excellent host. Just bring your suite cases and enjoy and relax. This place is all you want and better.

OC Family Getaway

Loved the house. Perfect for family of 5, Pool and Hot Tub in excellent condition. 3 min drive to downtown shopping and beach. Host was very accommodating and respectful of our time and space. Would definitely come back!

Let’s start with the host. Mark is fantastic. So easy to work with. Very communicative. Really enjoyed working with him as we planned our trip.The house. Fantastic! Literally had everything we could possibly need. It really felt like home away from home. Tons of towels, beach towels, and beach amenities! The hot tub was phenomenal. The pool was so refreshing.This is THE house!! You won’t regret booking here.

We had a fantastic stay at this property in San Clemente. The home was exactly what our family needed—spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The pool was a huge highlight for us, and the views from the property really made the experience special.The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to relax and unwind. Inside, everything felt clean and thoughtfully set up, and we immediately felt at home. A particularly nice touch was the variety of games and toys available for kids—our family really appreciated this, and it kept them entertained throughout the stay.Communication with the owner was excellent throughout the entire process. They were responsive, helpful, and made everything seamless from booking through checkout.Overall, this was a great experience for our family, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others.

Perfect location for our family who ranged in age from 26 to 88. Homey, with spectacular views. All one level, which I needed for elderly father. Would definitely do this again!

Wedding Weekend

Property was a great fit for our family needs. Plenty of room and wonderful backyard space/pool for all to enjoy. Well stocked, comfortable furnishings, good location, quiet neighborhood. A very nice home and excellent owner communication when we hit some bumps with things through the week.

Outstanding accommodation

Lovely home in a great neighborhood, beautiful view, comfortable beds, everything you could possibly need even for an extended stay! Lots of books, dvd's, games, and the kitchen and pantry are stocked with everything you could possibly need! Plus beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, pool toys! We had a fabulous time and hope to return.

The home was amazing, clean, Ronny and comfy! The view was MAGNIFICENT! We loved getting in the pool and hot tub. It was exactly like the pics of not better! Thank you for letting us use this gorgeous home of yours!

Loved this house!

Loved this home and you will too. Mark was a fantastic host! Everything we needed was at our fingertips or a simple text away. The pool and hot tub were amazing. The kitchen is expertly stocked; the towels are abundant and the view is spectacular! The home is an oasis retreat. Our family enjoyed the week so much and we would love to return.

Beautiful home

Lovely home, had everything we needed or could think of wanting. Pool and views were incredible. Definitely need a car, nothing in walking distance. We have 3 boys and on the first night, after 12h of travel, we let them jump in the pool from 9:30-9:55pm (quiet time 10pm) - next day had a noise complaint, even though quiet time is after 10pm, so noise rules are strict . Mark was super helpful and made everything very easy. Great stay.

Awesome View - Awesome House!

Words and pictures cannot capture the beauty of the view from the backyard of this wonderful rental property. We spent most of our waking hours outside enjoying the view and the weather! In addition to the backyard oasis, the home is so awesome and was perfect for our family, which included our grown children and our grandkids. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep as well as being able to share in the beautiful surroundings. My husband is in a mobility scooter, and this property was as accessible as we have ever found anywhere. We did have a couple of hiccups, but nothing that would prevent us from returning to this incredible accessible home. The neighborhood is quiet and there was no walking to the beach, but we found that, after getting in the car, we were right in the center of everything in no time at all. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention that the owner Mark was amazing to work with. He and his lovely wife met us when we checked in and showed us all of the amenities of the house. EVERYTHING we needed was supplied - we have never been to a more well appointed rental home! The game cupboard, library, video selection were second to none and the kitchen had everything we could ever need. Just a fabulous experience all around. Thank you Mark and Lisa for allowing us to rent your San Clemente treasure.

Amazing property. Only giving 4 stars in some areas because we had a few toilet, and water heater issues. The only downside is the master bedroom has NO door. So when anyone wakes up (KIDS) you are immediately woken up. Pros: everything under the sun stocked in the house! Plenty of room for 8 people. Location is amazing. Property owner is amazing. Pool is amazing. View is insane . Kids loved every part of it. Will absolutely rent this again. We had SO much fun. The best hosts and and true home away from home.

Beautiful view!

We had a nice stay as our son recovered from surgery. Everything is on one level which made it easier for him to get around. Owner was very helpful and great to communicate with, we really appreciated his kindness. The downtown area has a lot of quaint shops and restaurants that is just a five minute drive from the house.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is great. The backyard is spectacular, great views and the heated pool was delightful! Mark was an excellent host, very responsive. The property, while being up in the hills (hence the amazing view), was so conveniently located to everything - 3 minute drive to the grocery store and about a 6 minute drive to the San Clemente pier. We would definitely stay here again!

It doesn’t get better.

I’ve stayed in a fair number of vacation rentals and it just doesn’t get better than this. The house didn’t scream “rental!” and truly felt like staying with a friend. Great pool, awesome layout, and a kind host.

Family fun!

The house is located in a charming older neighborhood. It boasts fantastic views of the ocean from its backyard pool and Jacuzzi. It is extraordinarily well appointed including a shed full of beach accessories. The kitchen has every cooking tool known to man. Very comfortable cooking for a family of six in the kitchen. Mark, the host, lives within five minutes from the property. He is helpful and hospitable and bailed us out on more than one occasion. After a 14 hour Disneyland day we inadvertently locked ourselves out of the home and he was there within 10 minutes to let us inside. The home is spacious and great for a family of six or seven or eight. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. Mark is a great host!

Absolute paradise to chill out , in sunny San Clemente !

First off , this property is absolutely amazing ! We were in the area for my wedding , my family and I called this place home for 7 days and it could not have been any better ! Mark is an A+ host and met us there on arrival to show us the house . He was very quick to answer any of our questions and went out of his way to make sure our experience was the best it could be . The amenities at the property are absolutely everything you need and way more . The backyard oasis is the main attraction . We spent most of our time here . The pool / spa / lounge / bbq area are resort quality and the view is second to none . From am coffees to evening sunsets in the spa after a long day , it was perfect . The area is fairly strict for noise and traffic out front, but it is very reasonable for the high class area you are located. This property was perfect for our chill wedding week. Thanks again to Mark for being a wonderful host !
