This is our second time staying at Crescent Sandpiper (also in 2018). 227 was a clean, comfortable place with nearly everything we needed. The process through VRBO could not be any easier. We hope to return again in the future!

Love the location and views. Disappointed the pool is not heated. The bath tub is rusted, couldn’t give my kids a bath. Downstairs toilet runs all the time. Needs some updates considering how much you pay a week.

Health get away

Wasn't aware of there being no elevator or that it was in the form of a townhouse with more stairs until we arrived. Property & condo was beautiful but stairs were a big problem. My husband & i use walkers the majority of the time so the stairs were a big problem. Would love to come back but to a pet friendly ground unit. A special thanks to Anna, she was very accommodating to our needs. Very kind & friendly.

Thank you for your review. No the Crescent Sandpiper has never had an elevator and it is 3 levels with first floor units on the first ground level then the townhome style starts with a second floor entry with interior stairs to the third floor. Also per the rules of the condo no pets are allowed.

We were switched from oceanfront condo at Sandpiper to different condo location at Ocean House with no view. It had dirty, stained furniture, no view and same price as condo we originally rented. Very Disappointed.

Nice location. Moldy carpets

When we first arrived, there was a musty, moldy smell that we thought we resolved by opening the place up to air out and lightning some candles. This helped for a few days when it returned. Come to find out, the air conditioner unit had been leaking onto the carpet, leaving wet spots. I called the property manager once we realized what was happening. The office is only open M-Th The moldy smell was terrible, unfortunate , cause the condo seemed clean otherwise. Disappointing .

Susan, I am sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We were not aware of the non-functioning AC until you informed us. The office is open Monday-Thursday however, your property manager is available 24/7. The AC repairman was out to the condo the same day that you notified us regarding the leak. The AV unit has since been repaired and is working properly.

Condo on Crescent Beach near St. Augustine

Property was in a beautiful spot right on Crescent Beach & not a far drive to historic St. Augustine. We enjoyed both the privacy on the beach and sitting by the pool overlooking the ocean. Also spent time relaxing on the balcony listening to the waves and watching birds fish. Condo was clean with plenty of room for four adults. Could use a new coffee maker as it leaked on us but was usable. Was told there were beach towels included in linens/towels so didn't pack any, however we only found one. The office did give us two more when asked. Recommend more wash cloths be added to closet stock as there was only enough for one person. Another suggestion would be the addition of beach chairs and a cooler/ insulated bag. The air conditioner was not working properly our first night but problem was quickly rectified once reported. Anna was easy to communicate with and even recommended good seats for a concert at The Amp. Would recommend the zipline at Alligator Zoo and touring the Whetstone Chocolate Factory. The Washington Oaks state park was a very pretty place to visit.
