My favorite place to stay while visiting family in Athens. Host is friendly and welcoming, accommodations are comfortable and exactly as described. I especially enjoy roaming around the farm enjoying the animals and rural setting.

John was a great host! He greeted me at the door when I arrived and made me immediately feel welcomed. He was around during my stay, was friendly and personable, and I enjoyed our conversations. At the same time, he was respectful and allowed me the quiet solitude I was seeking. My room was cozy and comfortable. The setting was beautiful-indoors and out! I enjoyed a relaxing weekend, moving from patio to porch to indoor seating areas. I wandered around the farm and met the animals. John recommended a nice local place for breakfast. When I asked about where I could walk, he recommended a walk to a local historical spot, which I really enjoyed. I definitely plan on spending time here again when I am in the area.
