Not what was expected
To list the positives, the view is pretty good from the roof top. The distance to cedar point can't be beat. The condo was easy to get in and out of.
The rest though, very disappointing. We noted a long list of broken things in the condo, and many things that should be working but weren't.
Over half the lights didn't work, rendering using the dining table impossible to use, for example. There were no covers or drapes over the windows to the boat garage area and the sun shining on the water was blinding for about an hour each night...so that kept us out of the kitchen.
Lights that did work in the bedrooms were so dim they were almost useless.
The rear door locked from the outside...not sure if that's on purpose or not but it feels unsafe to not be able to lock an exterior door. Even if it's to access the rooftop...the rooftop is accessible by anyone else on the adjacent rooftops.
Not sure when the bathrooms were cleaned, specifically the tub.
And I read on a previous review requesting a TV in the livingroom...I would echo that. A stereo maybe, or something. The only sound on the bottom floor is the flock of birds that live in the garage area.
The whole unit just seems to be in a state of disrepair. For the premium vacation rental price charged, this property does NOT meet the value, not even close. We stay in rental properties multiple times per year and this one was a disappointment.
