The cabin met all our needs for our skiing vacation to Stowe. Bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. There was an added bonus of an extra bathroom added in the bathroom which worked out well
When more then one person needed the facilities. Our fur family enjoyed the premises as well. I was concerned about all
The snow we got and worrying about the long driveway but I didn’t even have to reach out and ask, as it was nicely plowed before we even woke up! We really appreciated that! We were looking forward to enjoying all the acres of surrounding property but silly us were staying while
There was tons of snow but our children still had a great time playing in the mounds of snow outside! Would stay again
My family took a long weekend near Stowe at the Pine House and it was perfect for our trip. The cabin was cozy, clean, and well maintained. Everything worked as you would need. Grace and Blythe were great communicators and made us feel welcome. We made great family memories here and look forward to a return trip back to the Pine House.
This was a lovely cabin in the woods for our family getaway! My husband is from Montpelier and we like to get back to Vermont and unplug at the end of the summer before the hustle and bustle of the year begins. The Pine House was the perfect retreat after hiking and biking all day in Stowe. It's a short drive into town and also really close to Elmore State Park for swimming. The house was just as described. The sweet bedroom upstairs with three twin beds was just perfect for our kids. They loved the kids books and some toys that they found. They were able to go explore some of the paths and woods on the property. The only thing to note is that the full bathroom is on the main floor with the kitchen and living room (there are two bedrooms on that floor, too). The "kids" room and another queen room are on the second floor where there isn't a bathroom at all. This worked okay for us, but if you have a young child needing the bathroom in the middle of the night or an older person needing more help with stairs, this might be a useful thing to know before booking. We'd consider returning again. Thank you!
My son, our dog and I spent a week skiing and exploring. This cabin was a fantastic home base with access to everything we wanted. Would highly recommend.
Wonderful property with all the necessary amenities for a cozy and comfortable stay. We were a group ranging from ages 6-65 and everyone, including our dog, enjoyed the home. About 30 min away from Stowe Mountain and Waterbury and 15 min away from downtown Stowe, which worked out well for what everyone wanted to do. House was well-stocked, from pantry and kitchen items to books and games. We hope to come back for another visit!
Loved the cabin. Loved the rustic homey feel. Loved the hotel-white towels, white duvets and blankets. Makes it feel super clean. Could probably use a deep clean on the main floor, but we still absolutely loved our stay! Thank you!
Will certainly be back, this cabin was warm, beds were comfortable and the privacy and surrounding nature was the best!
Close to Stowe, and owners were quick to respond and great to communicate with.
Will definitely be back!
This home is as pictured with lovely woods around the property. We went in winter and our daughter loved sledding and playing in the snow around the yard. It was quiet and clean and was the perfect place for a Stowe getaway. Would come again.
This cabin is in a rural, wooded setting that was great for enjoying nature and letting our two dogs go free outside. Farmland nearby and beautiful Mountain views! We enjoyed the rustic ambiance, including the all pine interior and a great fire pit in the backyard, but other guests should be prepared for the lack of Tv (however there is an HD screen that gets Netflix), and no microwave. Cabin was fairly well equipped otherwise with some condiments and coffee, teas and games for children. There are actually 4 bedrooms...this would be perfect for two couples with young children that want to get away to the great outdoors. Elmore lake and mountain are a short 5 minute drive away. Stowe and Smugglers Notch more like 15 - 20 minutes
We had a lovely time in this cozy cabin. The beds were comfy, the property was great to walk the dogs and even a make snowman after a the snow. Easy to get into town or the mountain to Ski. We enjoyed being able to play games, read and cook meals as a family. Thanks so much for sharing your cabin with us!

Perfect for our Christmas break
The cabin is super comfortable with plenty of space. The kitchen was well equipped so it was easy to cook great meals in but plenty of dining options not far away. Worked in a day of skiing too. Would recommend for anyone looking for place close to VT winter attractions but not in the thick of it.

Beautiful house and property, thoughtful hosts
Grace was a wonderful host. She answered my questions swiftly and when we asked if there was a fire pit for smores, even left us a kit and roasting sticks. The house was spotless and the waters, soaps, and extra comfy linens were appreciated. The beds were comfortable and the backyard was great, though sloped, for lawn games and relaxing. We stayed here for my husband's 30th birthday with a few friends and enjoyed the local breweries, restaurants, playing board games at the house, and the local pizza Grace recommended. The house was off the beaten path, set back into the woods. It was a refreshing change of pace and our dog had a great time too. I would love to stay here again and highly recommend.

Enjoyed our Stay in the Pine House
We had a very relaxing couple of days in the Pine House. The house was equipped with everything that we needed. It was tucked in the woods, so our dogs enjoyed exploring the property. We had fun visiting some of the local breweries in the area- our favorites were Prohibition Pig, Alchemist and Hill Farmstead Brewery. Stowe Bee Bakery was excellent and it was good that we only discovered this on the last day!
