Great Place for a Short or Long-Term Stay
Had the pleasure of staying here for a long-term stint. Place was very clean upon arrival. The floor plan is well set out, as the apartment is open and has plenty of space. Wood floors in the bed, living, and spare bedroom and tile in the kitchen and bathroom. The living room was nice as it has a large couch with a chair and two side tables. The living room also has a nice large, mounted TV and is equipped with local cable as well as smartTV functions (Netflix, Pandora, etc.). The kitchen is nice as it is fully equipped with everything you need to cook (utensils, cutlery, cookware, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, table and chairs, toaster, coffee pot, etc.). The spare bedroom is relatively large and has another walk-in closet with an ironing board/iron and laundry hamper. The main bedroom is large as well with a walk in closet provided with a dresser and hangars for clothes. The mattress itself is extremely comfortable and large as well as coming with lots of pillows. The room is nice because it has light shades that can be used for at night to block out basically all light. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink, toilet, and large cabinet to put towels and toiletries in. The apartment building is relatively quiet, as it is located near the Health Science Center (OU) so the surrounding area are mostly healthcare professionals. The location is nice because it is in a safe part of town (a few miles from the capitol). The building is well lit at night and has a parking area specifically for the apartment. Additionally all the doors for the building are equipped with locks to get inside. Never had a problem with neighbors or surrounding area. There also is an underground laundrymat in the building which can serve as a tornado shelter if needed. The location is also close within a minute's drive to good restaurants, grocery stores and gas stations. The host was very accommodating and was quick to reach/contact for any questions. Overall, this place made my first stay in OKC a fantastic experience and would not hesitate to stay here again. 5/5 Stars for sure!!

Nice apartment with one HUGE flaw
The apartment is generally nice, with a modern feel. Nice furniture, good temperature control, good water pressure in the shower, and the bed/pillows are comfortable enough (not the best but not bad). Check in was very easy with keypad codes for the building and apartment itself sent ahead of time. Very simple and self-serve. The WiFi was find in the living room, but didn’t work (or would just disconnect) when in the bedroom. Snacks and a bottle of wine we’re a nice touch, but would have rather had decent bathroom amenities (see further below). However, the biggest problem is that this is not actually a true 2 bedroom because the bathroom is INSIDE one of the bedrooms! I stayed here with a work colleague and one can imagine the awkwardness of this situation. In real estate, you’re not allowed to call a room a bedroom unless it has a door and a window, and the 2nd bedroom does not have a window (meaning this was really a 1BR that someone tried to convert). None of this was mentioned in the listing description and when I noted the issue to the host, he said it was in the pictures and he would “make a note for the record”. There’s a photo from inside the bathroom but I’m not sure how someone is supposed to see that as a representation that the bathroom is inside only one of the bedrooms - something nobody would ever expect and I’ve actually never even seen before in any dwelling in my entire life. As of this review, the listing still states that this is a 2BR and makes no mention of the unexpected bathroom situation. Recommendation for simple yet helpful quality of life improvement: the bathroom amenities were very light - only one teeny tiny bar of soap and a pair of travel size shampoo and conditioner bottles. I stayed here with a work colleague and we had to go out and buy our own soap.. which is annoying and pretty unnecessary to have to do for apartments like this.. even hotels give you more. I would recommend to just spend a couple dollars on a bottle of body wash or something like most other VRBO apartments have.

Why they chose this property

It's a great place for people traveling here for medical reasons that want a better option than a hotel. I provide great service for less than hotels.
