You'll love this renovated condo at Tristan Towers 5B! Offering the best view on the island, Tristan Towers 5B boasts a large wraparound balcony overlooking the beach, Gulf and the pristine Gulf Islands National Seashore on the west end of the island. No matter what time of year you stay, you'll enjoy spectacular sunsets not seen anywhere else!

This nicely-decorated 5th floor two bedroom condo features a beautiful kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and attractive farmhouse-style sink. The master bedroom has a king bed, a newly renovated private bath (2024), balcony access and beautiful views of the beach and Gulf, while the guest bedroom has queen over queen bunk beds and a western view of the island. The guest bathroom was also completely renovated in 2025 and is located in the hallway.

At the end of a sun-soaked day on the beach, there's entertainment for everyone with flat screen TVs in every room, and secured, complimentary wireless internet access. Nice-sized laundry room with washer/dryer in condo. Tristan Towers is a favorite for family reunions, with groups returning year after year!

Amenities include a large pool, dock on Santa Rosa Sound, tennis courts and barbecue grills. You're within walking distance of the famous Peg Leg Pete's Seafood Restaurant, and just a short drive from historic Ft. Pickens, located just to the west in the Gulf Islands National Seashore.

It was lovely, the unit, the views and the location! So much perfect beach especially with Fort Pickens next door and Pelican Pete's on the other side. Pelican Pete's has the best oysters in Panama Beach. Dog beach on the gulf across the road. Plus, the Blue Angels practice over the Fort. It was perfect.

This unit has the best view of any place we've stayed, we could even see dolphins in the sound one morning from the balcony. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms nice. The pool is great and beach access is super close and convenient. We did have a few issues- when we arrived we saw a shattered lamp that someone just stacked the broken pieces on. The bathrooms were also filthy (master the worst) - urine pooled on the side of both of them and a lot of hair on both bathroom floors. When we went to put clothes in the dryer, there were dried blueberries in there and the whole inside was stained. That being said, the management company responded quickly to collect and replace the lamp and they figured out how to clean the dryer out so we could use it. We never heard from customer relations about the bathrooms but I had told them I didn't want to wait and cleaned it myself. If staying there I'd just recommend checking for issues like these so you can report them before the office closes.

Beautiful location will return for sure.

The unit had great space. Loved the wrap around balcony. Only two chairs though and it was a large unit. Views of the bay and the beach were gorgeous. Nice tennis courts and pool. Well stocked kitchen. Bathrooms could use a little love. Super close to the beach and bike path. The only negative was we never received a contract or check in instructions. We reached out to the property manager multiple times and never received a response. We contacted VRBO and they put us in touch with the management company. We will return.

Nice set up at Tristan Towers which allows access to Soundside, great size pool or cross street to Gulfside. Master bath is small. Basic condo unit, clean and good location.

Best Vacation Ever

At first I was nervous about a condo five floors up but once we walked in it was great. If I had to make a complaint I would say the second room would not get could. Besides that the house had everything we needed. Even had toys for the beach and the pool. Did I mention Location location location!!!!! It was great!!! Oh and the staff made me feel like a celebrity every time I called!!

Nice Location

Upon arrival the condo was very warm. Thermostat was at 75 and it took several hours to cool down. At first glance Condo looked decent just as pictured. But after settling in Condo was not cleaned very well, lots of sand and dirt and hair on floor and even old dirt and candy under pull out sofa bed. Lots of stains on white furniture. Bathrooms need updated. Shower doors are old and don’t move well and water drips from ceiling vent/fan after showering. We were able to clean, sweep and mop with supplies in the condo however we shouldn’t have had to. Overall the location was great. Close to the beach but just far enough down from the more crowded areas. Nice view from balcony.

This location was beautiful and well appointed. Tristan Towers is on the dated side but was amazingly clean and all the furnishings were great . Kitchen was perfect . We cooked big meals and had a wonderful table to eat then on. Directly across from beach access and the pool was large, clean and well cared for. Views were beyond description. Great washer dryer and AC was cool and comfy. We’re able to arrange an extra day even with the owners coming back that day at a decent price. Not the Vrbo rate but played up the local card and got them to come down a bit. For the price and connivence of being able to cook most meals and go to swim at the drop of a hat was unbeatable ! Loved our stay !

The view was absolutely out of this world. The beds are super comfy. The only complaint is, given the cleaning fee and service fee you charge, the room should be spotless to include the baseboards and fingerprints on the interior doors. The faucets need attention as well. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Good and bad

Loved the balcony in this unit. The views are amazing. But listing this condo as a new renovation is a stretch. The kitchen has been remodeled and is nice but the bathrooms are clearly from the original construction. Old 70’s style fiberglass tubs with glass doors that wouldn’t stay on the track. The faucet in the master bath was broken, closet doors wouldn’t move on the tracks and the cable wasn’t hooked up properly on the living room tv. I would have expected more considering what we paid. I would definitely look for another end unit at the TT just not this one. Others are much more updated.

Fun family vacation

We went as a family with 3 adults, a teen and a child. The condo provided enough room for everyone and the views were beautiful. The pool was nice, free beach trolley stop is in front of the condo, and the beach is right across the road from the condo. It was really easy to get to, not really any traffic to worry about either. We would stay at the location again. The only complaint is that both bathrooms could use some renovations and the bath towels were few and pretty small, however, we had a wonderful stay and are sad to leave.

Fun in the Sun
