On the Jurançon wine route, the 3-star Castagnet farm, with its interior patio, is located at the end of a 300-meter path surrounded by vineyards, meadows and woods.
It is part of the commune of Lucq de Béarn, a village with typical Béarnaise houses which preserves the ruins of an old Benedictine abbey and has one of the most beautiful monuments of Béarn: the St Vincent Church which is linked to a rich monastic past.
Lucq de Béarn was founded around 544 by Childebert, son of Clovis.
Do not hesitate to reach the nearby towns: Orthez, Navarrenx, Monein, Sauveterre de Béarn, Oloron Ste Marie all the surrounding villages.
You will discover their architectural heritage dating for some from the Middle Ages and let yourself be tempted by the local gastronomy, rich in local produce that you will find on local markets.

Un endroit paisible, entre vignes et vallons, une ferme ancienne très bien restaurée et équipée
les propriétaires nous ont accueillis avec bienveillance et confié leur très charmante retraite.
A ne recommander qu’à de très chers amis !!

Con espacios para todo. Su entorno es magnífico, entre las viñas y el bosque.
El lugar ideal para quien busque la calma. Muy recomendable.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour à la ferme Castagnet, la maison était très agréable, le patio, la terrasse, la pièce à vivre,les chambres bien agencées, les lits et matelas confortables.
Et surtout le calme, le calme, le calme, les chevreuils, les vignes, gipsy, maya et gaspard ..................
Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce gîte où nous n'avons trouvé aucun bémol, de plus les propriétaires sont fort sympathiques et discrets.
Pour les amoureux du calme et de la nature foncez !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vacaciones en familia agosto 2016
Fuimos 2 familias con 2 niños cada una, de 3,5 y 1,5 años.
El entorno es espectacular, una casa preciosa rodeada de viñedos y pastos... y las estrellas.
Lástima no poder estar el 12/08 y ver la lluvia de estrellas, ya que se debe de ver espectacular!
Esta a media hora / una hora de sitios de interes.
La casa esta equipada con todo lo necesario.
Los propietarios son encantadores.

Merveilleuse demeure dans la campagne Béarnaise
Magnifique bâtisse en pleine campagne Béarnaise sur la commune de Lucq de Béarn et à environ 6 km de Monin.
Mr et Mme Léon ont su garder le charme et l'authenticitée de cette demeure, Ils ont su allier rustique et modernité tant dans la rénovation que dans là décoration. Un grand bravo pour ce que vous avez réussi à réaliser. Très accueillants ils seront vous conseiller sur les activités et les visites à effectuer durant votre séjour. La maison est très bien équipée, rien ne manque.
Si vous recherche un lieu où vous couper de votre quotidien et où vous souhaiter vous ressourcer en pleine nature, je vous conseille cet endroit.
