Great house and location-but management check in was horrible
Loved this house it suited all our needs. I have been using VRBO for years and love it. There is shops and a park within walking and the neighborhood was quiet and well kept. We had no issues with the house and the local person who contacted us after a mix up with the check in process was very pleasant and accommodating. The only issue we had and this was the first time I have ever encountered this with a management company, I was sent links to "complete" the rental which non of them worked, and was asked information they already have with VRBO which I thought was overkill and completely unnecessary. I called and did not get any response back for quite a while. When I finally got ahold of someone it seemed to be an overseas telephone service and a representative who was one of the rudest people I have ever had a phone conversation with. She acted like she was doing me a favor by getting me the check in info after I was on hold for 20 minutes. The extra check in problem "process" with Vacasa management should be removed all together. I can not stand when they tell us its for our homeowners protection well I got news for you they had no problem taking my money without this process and the homeowners are already protected because they already have my personal information through my payment and rental process we already have with VRBO. Note to the Owner this site was created for Vacation rental by OWNER I understand having a management company handle all the maintenance and sending the check in info to us the renters is one thing but having them make these extra steps that we have already done with VRBO and sending broken links and have a "customer service" team who does not care one bit about your customers or your investment handle this mundane aspect of their check in process under the guise of protecting you or us is absurd. We were unable to check in until the day after our original check in date because of this lack of service and a broken overlapping system they created to appear to put value in their service to you and your customers I would recommend changing the company you use. I almost cancelled this rental and had another one lined up but finally got the info I needed to get into the home. We contracted to be in the home on April 5th and were not able to get in until April 6th but that was only after I called and made an extra effort to get the check in info that I already signed and committed to receive.
