Perfect Relaxing Waterfront Getaway!! Near Roche Harbor.

This 2 bedroom island getaway is the perfect spot to relax, read a book and enjoy the north end of San Juan Island. The open floor plan of this home is perfect for a couple's getaway or family adventure. Each of the two bedrooms has a Queen sized bed, plus there is a Queen sized sleeper sofa located in the open space between the living room and kitchen. The house sleeps 6 people. The large kitchen and living room are lined with windows to maximize the beautiful and diverse, sunny views of Neil Bay. There is a mooring buoy for guest use.

Spend your day exploring the scenic surroundings in the bay or the many attractions in this area. Evenings can be enjoyed watching sunsets at the isthmus, or, with a board game around the dining room table. The wraparound deck makes wildlife spotting an easy activity at this home. River otters and seals can often be seen in the bay. Eagles, hawks, and many other northwest birds are known to frequent the tall trees of Davison Head as well.

With a grocery store minutes away and the spacious kitchen layout, preparing meals at this property is a breeze. Hiking trails and historic landmarks are just minutes from this cottage for the explorers in your group, while the ample seating in the main area will entice the relaxers to unwind and enjoy the view.

**This home does not have Air Conditioning, the breeze directly off the Bay and a few open windows is all that is required to cool down this home swiftly.

This was a lovely, isolated space with lots of space in a calm and pleasant neighborhood. The kitchen is fully equipped and the deck has a ton of room. There are plenty of places to relax and enjoy the natural beauty.

We are glad you enjoyed your time at this lovely waterfront home. It would be good to note that a 4 pm check in time is standard for homes of this size, however, we were able to accommodate a 2:30 PM check-in time on this check-in date. We try our very best to allow guests to check-in to homes as soon as they are deemed ‘renter-ready’, after our cleaning staff has completed and the property manager performs a final walk-through.

we boated in - lovely bay. Buoy is a bit of a hike from the house and big uphill climb over rocks and steep stairs to unload your belongings. great views from house, clean, nice walking neighborhood in the area.

Relaxing get away

My husband, son, and I had a wonderful time while staying in your beautiful home. I had coffee at the metal table and chairs every morning and took many sun rise pictures. We had difficulty with the WiFi to connect to our home town football game (Go Steelers!) until we switched to the 5G and he was finally able to watch the game without losing connection on my IPad. Then we lost the game. Thank you again and I hope to stay again soon!

Great experience in a comfortable, clean home. All was expected with an abundance for conveniences . As a rare VRBO user we didn’t know to bring our own shampoo / conditioner. Perhaps something to add to the precheck in instructions? Otherwise a really great stay - complete with ? sea lions / seals ? playing in the harbor outside our window!

With 2 suites, the place is ideal for 2 couples. Only downside is the 4pm check in and 10am check out. I understand that cleaning and services in the island can be a challenge,but they should really give a discount given that you are losing basically a whole 1/2 day with the check in and out times.

We were traveling with two adult children and a grand baby, so we loved the beautiful windows that let the outdoors come in, even when we were housebound with a napping baby! The kitchen is beautifully equipped and the home is exceptionally comfortable. This was our first trip to San Juan Island and I feel like we were lucky to stay outside of the ferry area in Friday Harbor. The Roche Harbor area is so lovely and much quieter! We will definitely return and hope to stay with you again.
