The house was very clean and the property was beautiful. The hot tub was very inviting and warm. Unfortunately we were there during a storm but it was nice and cozy inside. Ashley was very helpful.

The house was large, spacious and had enough bedrooms for all of us to stay in. It is in a lovely setting with a beautiful view of the green hills in the backyard. It is walking distance to small stores and wineries. It is peaceful & relaxing.

Perfect property for our group of 10 adults. Very close to the wedding activities we attended at the Bernardus Lodge and Spa. The bath and bedroom accommodations were the perfect setup. Shared spaces were well stocked and furnished. The backyard/pool area was a relaxing oasis!

We had an amazing stay! The home was clean, spacious, and full of cozy nooks for reading and relaxing. Even with cold, rainy weather, the heated tile floors were a godsend, and our 96-year-old father could navigate the property easily. The kitchen was well-stocked with quality cookware and dishes, making cooking simple and enjoyable. We loved the hot tub—even in the rain—and the cute workspace/gaming area was a fun bonus. The location was perfect—within walking distance to restaurants and wineries, and ideal for day adventures to Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea. The property managers were professional, responsive, and quick to help with any questions or troubleshooting, making the stay seamless.Highly recommend this property for comfort, convenience, and a cozy, accessible experience. We would gladly return!

★★★ Super unique spot
This home is quite unique. It's big, funky, and the backyard is stunning. Lovely pool, amazing location, walk to town, gorgeous garden, great parking. However, it's dark, really dark, and most elements of the home are very tired (furniture, carpet, stone, tile, etc). The kitchen is really tiny for such a huge home, and it was very difficult to cook with another person in the kitchen. We had a wonderful time with family, yet I never found a comfortable place to sit inside the house. I did enjoy the backyard furniture. There was almost no water pressure in the shower; getting into the main bed was a challenge in itself (it's so high). I never felt good in the house or with the decision to rent this big, expensive place... I would not recommend this home with so many other options at this price point. But if what you want is the perfect garden, pool, etc... this is the place for you.
We had a wonderful stay. The house and property is beautiful. Everything was very clean and stocked well.
We had a couple issues and management took care of it right away.
Can’t wait to stay here again!

Carmel Valley House
The house was beautiful and perfect for our group. The location was walking distance to fun wine tasting rooms and good food options. The house was spacious and clean and the outside was large and had plenty of spaces for our group to gather.
We would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this house for anyone looking to visit Carmel!
We came here for a wedding in Carmel and this property accommodated our family beautifully. It was spacious, well-appointed and very private, with gorgeous grounds. We will definitely rent this property again for a future family vacation!

We had a fabulous time celebrating two 60th birthdays with a group of girlfriends. Perfect location, walking distance to wineries and town. Beautiful home.
The house is adorable. Check in was smooth. The layout and spaciousness was as described. There was a little bit of a bug issue. Especially a full ant infestation in the upstairs bathroom.

Thank you for the great review, we will be updating the kitchen items soon.
Wonderful guests, would rent again.
We had a wonderful family trip to this property. We hiked at the nearby Garland Ranch Park, went to a wine tasting within walking distance of the property, BBQ'd one evening and sat around the fire pit for some dessert. There is quite a bit more to do in the area and it is within a reasonable distance from Carmel and Monterey. We had one elderly person in our group who was able to enjoy the spacious lawns with a walker. A memorable trip!
We had a great 40th birthday trip at the house! It is a great property and hosts are very responsive. There was an issue that the listing when we booked (8 months prior) had different information that was changed without notice. However, once the issue was discovered it was resolved - very responsive. We loved the hot tub and walking distance to downtown!

We all had a great time. There was plenty of room for sleeping and bathrooms. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub even though the weather was a little bit on the cool side and some rain we grilled every night and enjoyed the large kitchen so we could all eat together.
