Cozy getaway

Recently spent a week here, exactly as advertised. Immaculate, private, with everything you will need for your stay. Especially enjoyed the private forested area. Greg was very respectful of our privacy, and was very responsive to any questions. Would recommend this authentic Hawaiian accommodation!

Lovely cabin in the woods, close to Volcanoes Nat'l Park and other fun stuff!

This is such a lovely cabin!! We stayed two nights and it was a great jumping off point for exploring the Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. Greg was excellent about communicating instructions on how to get in, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, etc. and had the place very well kept and well-stocked for a comfortable stay. I would recommend that folks plan to arrive before dark--while the property was easy to find with Greg's instructions and it is well lit, some of the roads to get there are dark and not well-marked. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely property! We'll look for you again next time we visit!

Location to Volcanic National Park Good

The "Treehouse" worked out well for my husband and I. The location to the Volcanic Natl. Park was good.

Why they chose this property

Self check-in. Unique island experience. Hawaiian style construction with modern amenities. Recently renovated. Great view of Mauna Kea. Easy access to Hilo, volcanos, black sand beach and Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea and many other attractions. Owner/Host lives on the property next door, but there is plenty of distance and forest dividing the properties to give guests complete privacy. Easy parking right in front of the cabin. Well maintained.
