One Mile From Ocean Clift-side Trails. Hilo is 25 minutes away, 35 minutes from Volcano Park, 25 minutes from Kalapana and Uncle Robert's Wednesday night Farmers Market and the red road to the blacksand beach created by the recent lava flow. Jade Ohana is Named For the unique vines with Turquoise Jade flowers Hanging In The Ohia Trees. The Ohia Tree Is Native To Hawaiian And It's Red Lehua Blossoms Are Celebrated In Many Chants And Songs. Also on the one acre are Coconut, Banana, Jackfruit, Breadfruit, Hibiscus, Ti, Bromeliads, Avocado, Orange, Tangerine, Guava, Passion Fruit, Lipstick Tree & Kukui. Fragrant flowers- Puakinikini, Plumeria, Jasmine and Gardenia.

The Floors Are Lauhala Mats, (traditionally Used By Polynesian Cultures,) Bamboo, And Tile. The Bedroom, Light And Airy, Has Windows On Two Side With Views To The Gardens. The Bathroom Has Tub/shower, Bathroom Towels, And Beach Towels And Beach Mats. Wi-fi, Satellite Tv, Dvd Player, Cd Player, Hawaiian Music And Books Are Provided. Also Complimentary Coffee And Fresh Local Grown Fruit Are For Guests When They Arrive. The Kitchen Is Equipped With A Full Refrigerator, Microwave, 2 Burner Electric Stove, Toaster Oven, Coffee Pot, Blender, Dishes, And Glasses, Etc. (also Salt And Sugar.)

The Quaint "old Time" Village Of Pahoa Has Lots Of Great Little Restaurants, Thai, Mexican, Italian, And Also Kaleo's -a Charming Gourmet Bistro Featuring Live Music. Check Out The New Tin Shack Bakery In Pahoa. There Are Also Health Food Stores In Pahoa, And Hilo Which Serve Delicious Food Buffet Style.
