Deborah's two homes are spacious and clean. She has the home well equipped with all bedding and necessary items to care for a home. Walmart, Shaws, HomeDepot, etc., is a quick 10 minutes away, so shopping is easy. 30 minutes aware is Acadia. You are closest to the Hull Cove entrance; Cadillac Mountain, etc. For those who fly, the airport is approx. 10 minutes away. As for the property, Grotto has its own kitchen with 3 futons in the adjoining livingroom, a bedroom with 2 twin beds; and a bedroom with 1 queen; downstairs, you have multiple couches that turn into beds. Awesome for kids. Oh and a deck off the livingroom overseeing the bay. The Ariel is spacious with everything you could possible need. Our deck overlooked the bay as well. We brought our own kayaks and went from one island to the other. There is a small shed that has 2 futons in it, we did not use. And for those who like outdoor fires on the beach, my kids made a firepit with seating out of the materials found on the beach. If I had to say anything con about the rental, the kids were disappointed the Grotto had no wifi, but for my kids, wifi, tv and indoor activities is very limited and they are not there for that. They can come to the main house if they needed access. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this to anyone with a large group. Deborah, we thank you for such a great visit to the Acadia area. Linda F.
